  1. Like he just wants to stay as close to 400 as he can but is willing to pay a little more he said so i would guess like 450 at the most edit agian he juss txted me and said 500 is his limit

  2. I have a friend who is getting his first system ever. He is getting pair kicker C154 15s. And his wants to stay as close to 400 as he can and he is already at 310 if he gets those subs and headunit he wants. What would be a good amp to give him the power he needs?

  3. It would really be helpful if you were to tell us what size tire you plan on running.. If you're going for a 2-3" lift, do body and save the money. You said it yourself its for street and never mentioned being off road.. Body lift-looks (Cheap, but looks retarded over 4") Suspension lift-Performance (Has a cost but worth it if you plan at all going off road.) So, tell us what you think of running. I personally have a buddy who has a 79 Bronco sittn on 39.5s.

If you're handy, you can just use blocks.. but then again, I need to know what height you are looking to get/ size tire you wanna run to recommend anything.

i want something that can run 35s and do well on and off road around 500 dollars is the best i can i have the ability to install it myself.

  4. I can give you my expierence with Kenwood. I have a thread on here with my build log titled 2008 ford fusion(the pictures with the stocks, kenwoods, rockfords next to each other tell a big story). I originally purchased a set of excelon 5x7 for replacements, within a week i sent them back for a set of rockford fosgate 6.5's. The difference is night and day. The kenwoods had good high range sounds, but that was it. There is little midbass and the midbass they did have was really sloppy. The fosgates have great midbass and sound really clean. I would also suggest getting a pack of damplier.

    Hope that helps.

okay thanks man i juss ordered a pack of damplier of sonicelectronix:)

  5. Sonic electronix gets alot of my business for things like this. Also, I dont understand why people love to associate there age with not being able to afford such items. When I was 16, I was rolling in money that I EARNED. I worked 3 jobs, 2 of which were full time. I was a CASH COW back then...living home with no responsibilities, no debt, just school work...Damn life was easy back then. Come on boy, get your WORK ON! (please dont take this post as me being an ass, just sick of people saying "im only 16" :aggressive: )

hey i understand what you are saying. i have job but when your dad gets laid off things the money situation isnt the best. but hopefully it doesnt last much longer then i will have plenty of money

  6. I wouldn't have bought it, but that is me. It is not a CEA rated amp, so that 100x4 @4ohm rating is more then likely BS. Might be more like 50x4 @4ohm. I LOVE my MTX amps for my mid bass/highs, and there not much more then that amp. I think you should have done MORE RESEARCH before that purchase.

Well i did alot of research i am new to the car audio world. What is a CEA rated amp. And Where did u purchase your MTX amps at? I dnt think it would be a bad christmas gift from my mom since i just am 16
