  2. the video is pretty bad, but whatever.

Idle drops pretty low when in drive, I would guess around 2 to 300rpm. Map sensor has been replaced, injectors seem to be spraying fine and from there idk what else to look for.

best way for me to describe it is its similar to when you pull a vacuum line off as soon as you put it in gear.

when driving after it shifts to second it kinda kicks hard but thats about it, drives fine when up to speed.

  3. so, i was thinking about building a sub wall for my astro van. honestly, ive never done anything with wood(handyman related) at all... i just know how to build/fix cell phones, desktops & laptops.

that being the case, what sort of tools/wood would i need? i'd prefer not to bolt it into the van as i'd like to be able to move it if ever necessary... so probably some sort of clamp system to hold it in place.

i realize i could just go and have a local shop do this but figure i'd say a big chunk of cash that could go to new subs instead.

    any help is appreciated. thanks!

3/4 MDF is your best bet.. if you don't have a table saw use a circular saw with a guide and your cuts will be perfect. i use titebond 1 and drywall screws, a lot of people just use staples though. best setup for an astro would be subs as close to the passenger side as possible and port on drivers side.

  4. IMO don't do it. I've tried my HDC's in a 4th and it didn't work well at all. 6th order worked well, but I'm not sure you'd have the room for that in a trunk.

For a single 15 off a 1200 I'd try to do 4.5cubes net and tune 35-38Hz, should be a solid daily set up...

Mike I'm doing the build so you know it will be done right. I'm gonna attempt it. I'll do 1.5 cubes sealed in a 2:1 ratio tuned to 45hz. I figured if tys hummer could do it with hds we could attempt it with hdc3s

didn't they switch to nightshades because HD's don't like 4th orders?
