    Um let me give you some info, as im looking for cars too. You are not going to find a nice 350z for under 8k. Not happening. there's some beat up pos 350z's around here at some mexican dealer that have 120k mileso n them, 6 speed manuals and they want 11,200 for the cheapest one. A DECENT one will be 14k+.

    Also have you even contacted your insurance company? Mazda was the most expensive for me, even under my dads insurance. They wanted 1200 for 6 months on an RX8...919 for 6 months for a 350z.

    Dont know if you know this, but BMWs are about 500 a year to get inspected since it's a special car.. It's not like a toyota where you can have it inspected in 20 mins and be on your way. Get it inspected by a cheap ass company and it'll show on the carfax. Trust me.

    If you find something like that, you need to do major research on it. Dealers can hide flaws like flood damage, wear and tear, engine lights, etc. Not that hard by a longshot. Do not impulse buy either.

    ive already gotten quotes on insurance.. and i wont be getting it inspected every year most likely.

    if i cant tell about the flood damage, wear and tear, engine lights, and etc then i guess ill have to hope that it doesnt have any problems.

    that looks pretty clean but the ones ive seen in my price range are either too old, automatic, or just dont look good at all

    if i saw that exact one id buy it if it was in my price range and manual though

    i was also looking at mazda rx-7's

    out of what ive been looking at it seems that the bmw m3 and mazda rx-7s are the fastest ones ive seen.. i compare their times on zeroto60.com

    well that helps him too colin but i think what hes asking is how to change the hz of the note

    so you need to follow colin's tut he posted and when you find your frequency you go under effects and choose change speed.

    either drag it to + or - depending on if you want the freq higher (+) or lower (-) this also speeds or slows the song down. about -8 is taking it down 4hz but you might have to play with it to get it right. and just keep checking plot spectrum after you change the speed.

    ive never done it this way, but you might also be able to do it changing the pitch under effects also.

    sounds cleaner imo to slow it down though :good:

    thank you decaf, i have it set up right now. i was clipping so bad and never realized it. now that i have it setup correctly, it sounds cleaner to me but not as loud.

    and my dmm kept moving from 29.6- 30.1 so i figured if it is a little over 30 it shouldnt hurt because 3/4 of my volume is 46.5 and i cant do half, so i only go to 46.

    and i dont have a highpass on my hu or amp.. just a lowpass and subsonic

    antenna? Shit who listens to FM anymore? I had mine shaved off ;)

    well, they are useful when you go to a drive in movie and have to go to a certain station to listen.

    or u might need the weather and your phones dead or something.. always good to have it

    and i actually wondered what it would be like at the drive in sitting in steves tahoe. i bet the explosions sound awesome lol.

    alright so im getting tired of this problem.

    when my bass hits, my seat belt locks up as if i slam on my brakes. i have the seat belt that goes back when you close the door or when u open it goes forward and you can disconnect it at the top of the slider. then theres the lap belt.

    i know i need it to lock up if i get in a wreck or something but it kinda pisses me off when im bumpin on the highway and i lean foward a little to check my blind spot to switch lanes and i cant see good. sometimes it just pins me where i cant move at all away from my seat. mainly the problem is the top part btw.

    then i have to turn my music down and try to give it some slack so it unlocks..

    any way to fix this??

    doing 30 over on highway today, 20 over on main streets.

    found a cop a car ahead in the left lane and he had his windows rolled down.... :pardon:

    but i turned my system all the way up. he couldnt see it was me cus i was behind him a lane over and if he knew it was me, he couldnt get me because he was ahead of me in the left lane and i made a turn anyways.

    had to get that cop since i got pulled over for only having it half the way up a week or two ago.

    oh yea

    yesterday i was at a light in the left turn lane and a cop was in the far right lane. there were cars all around us and normally i dont turn it up at stoplights but i dicided to do it this one time to how the bass was in a certain song i havent played yet.

    i didnt notice the cop (i checked my mirrors) but could only see him if i turned and looked through my right side back window. anyways i turned it up and 5 secs later he uses his speaker thing and says

    "please turn your music down now."

    but i kept it goin another 10 secs cus he couldnt stop me since the left turn light comes on first and he cant follow me as cars are blocking him.

    :pardon: sry but cops need to fuck off about music.

    he is saying that the box is tuned to 45hz, yet the amplifier with it will not play that tone?? lololol. 45hz sounds like prefab

    thats them, box is not pretty and many people told me it looks like crap but i cant do much with it, and my system satisfies me right now

    he said he and a friend built the box themselves specifically to make the subwoofers sound the loudest they could. theres led's that flash blue underneath the top lip of the box too but i have them unplugged
