  1. Maybe OP is the same dude who bass boosted and clipped the shit out of songs and had the bully at school play it in his system. Maybe OP is the same dude and got pissed at getting ripped a new a-hole and now wants everyone to DL and play his music so we can clip and blow our system's too.

    really?

how did you even find out?????

  2. cant even compete with most on here but i made a little video when i got bored earlier

was raining so i didnt pop the trunk.. distorts really bad because of the iphone video and you can hear the lyrics when in the car.. the bass doesnt drown it all out

yeah its my first system and to people on here its nothing but i just decided to post it

    what you guys think?

had to use the only CD i burned and this was the loudest song on it because if i used my iphone i couldnt record video at the same time..

  3. She's really hot and she has an amazing voice. I'm in love. If only she was a basshead.

P.s. She's twenty so don't worry about being a pedo. Just felt the need to share this. lol.

how do you know shes 20?

and you may not be a pedo but you sure are a creeper

  4. Yeah the LPF was probably set too high so it was filtering out low notes...is this a prefab box?

the installer made the box and i bought the box and subs from him and had him put everything in. (the bad one)

ive been told multiple times that my box is a pos too. i had no idea what a good box was at the time and even now i probably wouldnt know a good box when i saw one. i just believed what he told me, and what he told me was that the box was made specifically for the subs specs that he put in it.

and when checking the fuse under my hood, he noticed my battery wasnt held down. he told me it could get knocked loose in a car wreck and end up starting a fire.

so i went to autozone and picked something up to keep my battery in place. :)

  5. so i went to ultimate electronics and asked the audio guy to adjust my settings properly. as soon as the guy sees my amp settings he tells me never go to that installer again. he says the frequency is way too high and thats probably not picking up lows very good (which is true, i didnt pick up lows good but i thought it was the box that determined that. i guess the amp can help you pick up lows depending on what you set it at?) and now im picking lows up louder and cleaner. he also said my gain was too high and adjusted that. (the last time i went there the guy told me to switch my phase from 180 to 0 from a picture i showed him of my settings, and the guy this time said all my switches looked good.)

i told him about my fuses blowing and he told me to pop my hood and he took a look and said that since i have two 30a fuses on my amp, then i should have a 60a under my hood so they are both equal. (what i had before i switched it was an 80a.) so i did that and after all of that my bass sounds cleaner and i feel better about my system now.

if this guy knows what he is talking about then it kinda pisses me off knowing the one who installed all of my stuff didnt know what he was doing even though he advertised it. i guess i just wont use him anymore.

anyways i just felt like posting this. nobody probably cares but this is what happened with my system today

  6. it could possibly quite a few things in your situation...i usually run those amps on a fifty to sixty amp fuse with no issues..unless your cars electrical sucks completely i would almost immediately rule out voltage issues blowing the fuse..an improper ground could cause the fuse to blow...clipped signals could as well...unless the installers you have available are complete knuckleheads they should be able to solve this problem no sweat

and the phase selection 0 or 180 degrees has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with you blowing fuses...i would explain its purpose but it offers no regard to this situation

ok this amp is on two 30amp fuses

and would you recommend leaving it at 0 or putting it back at 180?

my ground is on this piece of metal between the trunk and my backseat if that matters

  7. this but like i said get your gains set if not then go bigger i guess what kind of headunit to you have cause if you get a good headunit with a good preout voltage then you wont have to be turning your gains up so high

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+-+50W+...p;skuId=9197148 head unit

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kenwood+-+500W...p;skuId=8742603 amp

    http://www.diamondaudio.com/content/view/134/148/ subs

i have no money to spend on car stuff right now.. so does anyone know of reliable shops that can set your gains and stuff for free? like maybe bestbuy or ultimate electronics? idk or atleast like really cheap? i dont know of any audio places where im at other than those two.

  8. sounds like a voltage issue to me...possibly an improper ground...amp specs appear to be a kenwood 9104D which is no current monster by any means...and that phasing issue that installer threw at you was COMPLETE bullshit

so does that mean i should put the phase back at 180 then?? it will sound louder but im afraid it will blow my fuses because since ive switched it to 0 nothing has blown
