What kind of amps and battery reserve?
uhm im gunna try the soundstream tarantula 2k on them now cuase i gots the hook up and three c&ds and im gunna get 2 400 amp alts too! if they make them for my truck

ook there going to be ran on 4k. soo do i need the hixmaxcoil? and it comes with freee cooling soo im going to get that and the universal! also what is the i heat ring? do i need it?

try and find my build log 2 18's will fit but its a lot of work to get them too. if you dont know how or you just dont want to then go with 15's they will fit perfect!

Okk soo after i redid my box it was fine! but after beatin for a while ive started to hear the back hatch more! and now it sounds like its slapping against the seal!!
is there any way i can seal it up without a permanent fix! i have to open it to open my tail gate!

sold my old setup and am either doing 8.5cubes and 2 18s behind the seats on 4-6kw or a wall with 2 18s on 4-6kw... Kinda like being able to have beat and 5 ppl in the car for road trips.hey dont take my build now haha!! jk but how are you gunna do 8 cubes with 2 18's! thats really small!

Im hoping so, ive dropped a ton of money into this thing so far. The weather is starting to get nice so im about to start pulling all this together and putting it in the truck. Im ready for it to be finished, its been nearly 6 months in the making.
haha thats like my new build i just started it but i want to do soo much! haha and i screwed myself by not doing research before buying my 18 now im kinda stuck with it until the funds come threw!!!

im not, i was just asking. Although i do like the look of a larger box. The one i have built up is about 6.5 cubes at arround 32ish. a bit concerned about my port area though, i used exosports box calculator, and im under my port area by about 2 square inches.
ooh well i guess you could always build a new one but if you only have one 18 then i would take the advice from the guy above and not go over 8 cubes! the only reason why i did is cuz im going to add another!
and i dont think 2 square inches is going to hurt anything! as long as it sounds good then your alright!

your idea is used soo much and you dont even know it! i work in the electical field and most of the motor starters and internal wirings of motors just give the wire a bit of solder to keep it from untwisting!
next time your at home depot or some place like that go fing a new apliance cord with thewall plug ad then some stripped wires on the other end! they use that!

only reason i asked is because i would think it would get sloppy up in the higher end of the 5-10 cubic feet range. Has anyone ever seen play an 18 in anything bigger than 8?
i just built a box thats 10 after displacement!! uhm lows for days and not sloppy at all! but the higher end of the lows dont get loud!

actually i am tossing the idea of selling my BTL's on ebay - #1, 2, 3 and 4.......all motors signed and numbered. They are not just my first four (of the new series) they are THE first 4. I might hold on to one of them. I have too much stuff laying around
