I'm so close, but not something I really would have the desire to do. Good luck on the search though.

I would backup your documents onto a portable drive or thumbdrive and do a fresh load, about 90 percent of the Windows 7 upgrades I have seen come into my store and that I have done myself have ended up having one problem or another.
No joke on that, I hate when people bring me a computer they have tried to do an upgrade on their own and they are like I just need my files and they aren't there. I'm sorry you should have just brought it to me in the first place but your files are gone. I can't get them back without piles o cash...

That amp would work also, but I'm not sure what the prime subs will actually take. they say 150W RMS on RFs website.

What about a RF Punch P300-1?

Wow...i'm surprised no one has blown this up. Short answer- not at all. Long answer- maybe. There have been tests with "certified audiophiles" where they had a blind test and still couldn't tell the difference between the cheapest cables possible and some of Pears multi-thousand dollar units. Yes sometimes they can get it right- but statistically they haven't proven themselves. Now- If you are wanting the best quality, then RCAs are probably not your WHOLE problem. If they are damaged or what not, yes they can cause issues, but if you have a good set of RCAs they will be all you need. The biggest difference you'll find will be transferring signal over something better than RCAs. Like fiber/optical/digital.
suggested brands? Go to google and type in "RCA cables"; click shopping, then find a price you like.
Personally I hate MONSTER CABLE and anything they touch. Their asshole of a owner has been doing all kinds of BS for years and I treat them like Walmart; only buying from them when I have too.
I hear this shit everyday, I respect your and anyone else who thinks this opinions. But these are test not everyday real world tests, Who knows what the RCA's and other cables come in contact everyday. I love my Monster HDMI cables for one reason, I can take a pair of pillars to the HDMI connector and I can't rip it out like I can on 75% of other cables. I'm not saying they are the best, But They do a great job. However I don't pay retail for the monster cable so the 36 bucks I pay for a 8ft 1000 series it is well worth it.

I use the Knukonceptz Krystal RCA's and they are awesome, well built and fairly inexpensive.

You bet there is, anyone who says the cheapest 16 foot is just as good as the most expensive is wrong. There is a point where so are just to much but there is a difference.

I laugh at this because I have no idea at all, I just turned 20 in april. Seems to be completely different then it is now, God I wish cruising wasn't illegal.

The hifonics do sound good for 64 bucks for 2 of them. Just need a well built ported box and you will be all set.

DC Lvl 4 xl all the way

I like the Kicker comps, specially if you are doing four of them

Panel saws make the cuts so much easier and straighter if done right, The guy who made my cuts at home depot last time did extremely well. Every cut was 100% straight and perfect. he checked each cut two or three times every time he made a cut.
The box is looking good, I have a buddy with 4 HX2's they get low.

yup. Guinness Draught = world's greatest beer
I'm glad, the only thing bud light is good for is beer pong and not being terribly cheap and awful.

I hope you're referring to the guinness. I had to remove alcohol from the pictures from my friends 24 birthday party, her parents still don't think she drinks. lol

I now own a road cone... Oh and speeding of course.

looks like a tight fit, but makes me re-think my build. ha

I must see this box, I didn't know you could fit a box that big in the neons trunk.
-
I know this, I work for best buy in home theater and the car audio guy who thinks he knows everything talkings nothing but shit to me because there is no way anyone outside of bestbuy installers know how to do anything.

Not much you can do about that in a Neon, My windshield flexs a little bit off two Type R 10s.
Starting battery
in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
Posted · Edited by walwalka
I have a question about the starting battery for my car, it is an 03 dodge neon sxt 2.0L SOHC. I have been looking at the XS power S1200 and the D1200, I know the S is a starting battery and the D is a deep cycle. But why should I spend the 20 to 30 dollars difference? I will only be running about 650W RMS off of the battery. Right now the car just has the stock factory battery or so it appears that way. The largest space I have for the battery to fit in is Length:8 in, Width:6.5 in, Height:7 3/4 in. The battery also has to be right hand positive. I just need help with the best battery for my purpose that will fit in the spot I have available. Noob question I know, but I'm trying to learn without being pesky. thanks guys!
