  1. Aw shit, it's gonna get real, lol. I'll be running an saz-3500 at first, and see what I can get out of it. How did you secure your false floor?

I built a frame structure out of 2x4s then PL glued it to the floor. then after i put the actual floor on i filled it in with great stuff.

mlstrass has a BAD ASS wall in his little old maxima i think it is...last i was in it was 4 HDC3 15s and i wanna say 4 AQ3500s....HOLY SHIT was that thing loud.....

Ya that car was nasty loud..

  2. Right on, I appreciate it.

What kind of power are you running, and have you had it metered? Sorry if it's in your build log, I'm just curious.

i was running just 1 crescendo 3500.. with that amp i did a 151.3 @ 29 hrtz haha but im switching that amp out for an NS-1 ;)

  3. Very nice. I just got a killer deal on two UFO style fi btl 18's, so I figured I'd try my first wall. I'm trying to ask as many questions I can about it without annoying people, lol. You never learn unless you try, right?

Exactly... this wall is the 3rd box i have built. the 2nd was a flat wall.... you learn from mistakes and asking questions.. dont be afraid to ask we will try and help you out.

  4. Couldn't you achieve that by having space between the box and side panels that is accessible from the rear of the car?

    EDIT:

Or accessible from the rear doors (if you didn't seal the doors too)

    EDIT2:

Or just have the terminals on the back of the enclosure, and wire from the subs to the rear of the enclosure lol

Well with mine i cant get to the back of the enclosure from the trunk. i have an amp rack back there and can no longer get to the box and i gotta crawl in my trunk to reach it

  5. My wall is built into a 4 door car... its kinda nice when you go to seal it off that yoiu can still get to the side of the box.. i also have the terminals mounted on the side for easy access. when i sealed mine off i did sonotube and fiberglass. with a little great stuff. check out my build log if you need ideas or never be afraid to PM

That's what I was thinking, just stretch fleece from the baffle to the b pillar, and resin it, then add mat, etc. I will probably be using great stuff to seal the top off. I have a couple questions about it, so I will probably pm you.

What is your car walled with? Subs that is.

2 Fi BTL N2 18s in a 4th order.. and i glassed the the sonotube to b pillar for that nice round edge lol

  7. I went from 144ish to a 159 (Rusty's dc audio van) boy was that a surprise!

Congrats on your cherry poppin :good:

That van had me dizzy when I got out that was crazy.

Yea its no joke for sure. I don't know how all these guys with loud vehicles demo all day.

You get used to it... and even when i hear something louder then mine i want to get even louder... which will be happening soon! :) but ya my daily driver does a 50+ so im always jamming and im used to it

  8. What's up everybody? Just wonderin who all is gonna be out at slamology this year. Luckily i only live a half hour away so I'll be there for sure. Was hoping to see a lot of you out there to get some demos. Also I want to enter my hoe just for shits and giggles so which class would i be in? I have 2 18s on 3900 watts with just one amp and 2 batteries. Hope to see you guys there!
