    Well I've had this vision of a 4th order going on for a while now im just really wanting to get rid of the traditional wall due to ffs. (Fat friend syndrome) those fuckers are not careful at all when im at a show giving demos I think the back of the seat is gonna go right through the cones. But id like the invert mount them so I can see that sexy N2 motor ;)

    Im looking to do a new enclosure in my car and thinking about doing a 4th or 6th order. Mainly because i want to be able to play a wider range but still be able to murder some bigpimpin songs :) Oh and the fact that i could rest my seats on loading wall instead of my traditional flat wall i dont have much leg room anymore.

    Subs are Fi BTL N2 18s

    Space i have to work with 30.5h x 42.5 w x 28 d

    Im not familiar with bandpass enclosures so if anyone would like to lend a helping hand id appreciate it. Im ready to play some wicked low shit! :good:

    Anybody received their BTL's yet or has a tracking number thats working?

    yes lots of us have.. i recieved my subs a week before labor day. my build time was a little bit longer since they had to wait on baskets but my tracking number worked and everything.. the ups labels are made when they start building i guess and when it has been picked up by UPS from their dock it goes into shipped status

    ok another question is my capacitor really needed some say yes others say no if no could i get a answer y

    no it isnt needed. if you have a bigger AGM battery and the big 3 done.. lose the capacitor.. the reason they are bad for your electrical system is they work off a push pull charging system meaning they charge up and drain in a matter of seconds which makes your alternator work even harder.. as the battery it charges in differnt cells holding the overall charge longer

    ok this is my 1st post so hello to all , ive been all over the net looking for this big 3 issue i got . well i have a 2007 hhr and the battery is located in the trunk the alternator is a stock alt. and there is 3 power wires running out of the alt one is running thru the outer fuse box one i dont where its going one back to the battery do i need to just replace the one ruuning back to the battery ? and if so we are talking 17 ft run should i run 2 inline fuses? just need to try to get this completed asap as im killing my car with electrical issues. running a kicker 1500.1 and a rockford 400.2 0 gauge power wire and a Kinetik KHC2400 battery and a stock 115 amp alt, i need the big 3 but please help with suggestions on a trunk mounted battery tia

    yes the one that runs back to the battery, you dont NEED to fuse but a lot of people like to fuse that line.

    Depending on what material is being used for the actual decal will depend on how well it will hold up. First clean the area with rubbing alcohol like stated above. then just apply the vinyl if its something pretty big and its being printed see if they can over laminate it... or you can just drive down to benton harbor i work for art & image.. we over laminate our products if its just the detroit D, very easy piece to do if you interested send me a PM

    I'm not the expert on boxes but if you put your measurements in the RE calculator you can tweak your specs until you get the volume frequency your looking for. As far as if 6cft will be enough for this sub,that should be enough since FI calls for 4.5 to 8. Here's the link to the RE website for the box calculator

    I have my btl 18s on a powerbass 5k each sub is seeing 6.4 after displacement and port it gets fairly loud according to most ppl but for me they need to be louder :) and these woofers sound great to me they sound better then the AQs that I had. You wont be let down by the n2s.. but if I were you.. id maybe try and fit 2 btl 12s in your trunk.. more cone area then seal it off!

    hello..im looking for a Fi BTL n2 15 inch sub. im even interested in the N3 if you have it..if you have one ill buy it..so let me know..my subs in my car blew out..so im looking for a new sub to replace ASAP. THank You

    They don't just have them sitting around.. they build per order go to the website and order I waited about a month for mine to get here im mobile and don't know how to add link but its ficaraudio.com
