fyi u can run welding cable for about 3 bucks a foot and is rated 300amps up to 100 feet. tomorrow i'm running 2/0 welding cable
To be fairly honest, appearence is important to alot of people. And Welding cable is not that great to look at. Plus, at $3 a ft., you could spend another 40 cents at Knu and get the 1/0 Flex cable that will do 375amps at 20' (which is more in scope, I don't see 100' foot runs beeing used in a vehicle.)

So would a stinger hpm 1/0 power kit be better for say around 2000rms?
Its all about current draw. If you are running less than 20' and you amp max draw is less than 250 amps, CCA will work. But, if you are planning on adding other amps, or doing an amp that has an amp draw of near 250 amps, just go straight for the OFC. Im running 2 1200w RMS amps with a combined max amp draw of 225amps. So CCA was not an issue for me for the time being. Going to be quite a while before I will be able to do 4chan amps for the fronts.

What are the draw backs of copper clad aluminum?
It can't carry as much current as pure OFC copper wire can. Other than that, not much of a draw back. Generally, 1/0 CCA is good for 200-250amps of current up to 20 feet. I just ordered 30 feet of the new KCA cable late last week and looking forward to getting it.

Your talking 6 grand for the rifle and the optics, "wasted money" is out the window. But yes, very well built firearms. Will not be dissapointed one bit.

If he doesn't have money for a 3SIXTY, hows he supposed to get the money for the MS-8?? LOL!! Wish I could get one.

It seems rather odd for a SMD Partner to be dogging the site!!!

You have to be a Gold or Silver supporting member aka $$$.

LOL, this is amazing. I have had the same thing happen to me. Mom mad the guy leave, married my dad. The guy didn't even show up to the adoption hearing, so default judgment and my Dad adopted me when I was 2. Fast forward 16 years, just graduated high school. Laying in bed one day, and the phone rings. Same conversation you spelled out. The thing that got me, the dude never even had the balls to try and reach me him self. And why wait till I was 18 HAHAHA. What a joke, they still try to get a hold of me here and there, you think after 7 years of ignoring them the would get the hint, but I guess not.

exactly....
oh and i am a terrible car buyer if i dont even know if its AWD or not - i admit it How can i find out just by looking at it, ill go out there right now....any tell tale signs?
Its pretty simple Steve, if it has trans-axles, and a rear drive line, is AWD. Just look to see if there are drive lines going to the front wheels.

Why not increase your port area so you don't need such a long port? Or just do an all out T-line.
-
The wiring on the subs should look more like this (assuming dual 1ohm coils).
That is to say, sub 1 should be the only sub connected to the amplifier, and sub 2 is connected via sub 1.

I have done some research and hear nothing but good things about it, hopefully someone hear has some experience with it
Not very likely. Most people around here are all about SPL, not so much on SQ. And when a processor is needed, why spend $800 when you can spend around $300 on the 360.
-
If you have the extra $800 laying around for it!! Would be freakin sweet to have, the RF 360 would be a cheaper alternative.

The Bosch Icon blades work phenomenally as well, plus they are a little bit cheaper, have them on the front of my Tahoe. I do have a latitude blade as the rear wiper tho, I like it.

What ever you do, don't stop once you start like I did. Fortunately, I work for an awesome company and THEY are sending me back to school and paying for it all.

Hell yeah.... have you used inventor?
Not to any real productive amount. I don't really care for it. The SolidWorks user interface is so much smother and user friendly than Inventor. Plus, you get more for your money with SolidWorks.

SolidWorks FTW!!!!!!!

That is exactly what I figured it would look like.

Thats quite the drive. my wife and I drove from Casper to San Fran. a couple years ago. There is nothing between the Nevada line and Salt Lake. So your best bet is to shoot for Salt Lake. Like a 12 hour drive or something around there. Your next best option would be Elko or Wendover. And if your looking for shorter legs to your trip, you might want to look for a place around Cheyenne or Sydney, thats assuming your going to Lincon (based on your topic for a few days ago).
