Post it when your done, should be interesting where you go with it!

O yea, congats on the interview, still not a whole lot of that going on right now. And I would advise against the sweater too. Not really a good look unless your going to grandmas house. Stick with the the polo with a collar, or a button up t-shirt with a collar. DO WEAR PANTS, you don't work there yet and need to make an impression. It is a business casual appeal, makes you look "together". Nice shoes too (once again not dress shoes, this isn't a desk job after all). Couple other things if your interested... Wear a decent watch, gives a look that you are time oriented and organized. Turn you cellphone OFF, not just on vibrate, better yet don't even take it in with you. Distractions are distractions, you don't need them with the interview going on. Congrats and good luck man!

Don't wear shorts! you wont be wearing them to work, and they are way to much of a laid back look. Need to be somewhat professional. Wear nice bluejeans at a minimum, slacks (not dress pants)would be best.

You could start with how the low voltage system in a car works. Start at the engine and alt, how everything connects together. Then basic speaker "how they work". Advanced electrical options. Media solutions in car audio and video!

I have 2 W15GTi's in my Tahoe and couldn't be happier. I'm not huge on being super loud, but it will defiantly tickle you ear drums. The 15's do require quite a bit of space tho. I tuned my box to just under 30hz, box is a little of 9ft3. I love it, had a W12GTi before the 15's, and these are harder, faster and seem to have a really deep punch.

I only use open reels.

Their is no way she would do that to me. She is not only my GF shes my best friend. Even if we broke up i think we would still hang out. Na she wont keep it lol.
Thats cool, I just hope you have had enough experience with women to see how truly mid-evil they can be. I'm not judging, I don't know you two, just saying .

My only thing to say is, you said girlfriend. Is it a good and serious enough that you want to put this in her car. Kinda puts you in a position to not get it back if things go bad.

The w15s come with 2 data sheets. 1 is for sq, and has ideal volumes and tuning frequencies for sealed, ported, or bandpass. They also come with a data sheet for SPL competition enclosures, with 3 different tuning frequency enclosures. I built my enclosure a bit larger at just over 9 cubes and tuned to just under 30hz, and it is amazing.

GTi's are great all around sq/spl woofers. I just (2 weeks ago) installed 2 w15GTi's in my Tahoe. It is amazing. I had a w12 before the 15, and it was a great woofer. Great sound and could get really loud.

That is just so wrong. I can't believe this is actually happening.
I think the worst part is that it is allowed to happen. nobody stepping up and doing what is necessary to make them go away. I would follow on of them home and hold protest at their house, then find where they work and do it there too.

I believe (screw that, I know from reading) that Steve has no problem with people having an opinion. Its the crap talkers who aren't voicing and opinion but are just talking smack and trying to start crap. If one person is used to being criticized it is in deed Steve. He doesn't really give a crap what others think, but he (and I sure as crap don't blame him) is not going to sit there and let some little punk, that doesn't know crap, talk crap to him.
-
Yea actually they do. Really creative stuff too not just the same ol same ol you see every day.
If you had read this you would know he wasn't going for creative or flashy, he wanted nice and simple and good color! Read before reply.

can he not state an opinion?
Ya he can, but post no info to back his comment!!!!!

Right now it is 2 JBL W15Gti's, in a 9.2ft3 box tuned to just under 30hz. Powered by a JBL BP1200.1. Subs are wired to 1.5ohms. And I will say it knowing I'll get slamed for it, but, a Stinger hybrid 15 Farad capacitor. It worked wonders with the 12" Gti I had in befor the 15's.
I know I said pics to night, but camara was dead and I didnt feel like messin with it tonight, hopefully tommorw. But, you can use your imagination, it really is not much special.
-
That's a pretty sweet box what's it made out of.
Its solid 3/4" acrylic.

So, I finally got to build the box for my 15's that I bought in October. Wont be able to put pics up till tonight. I do however have some from the old system that I took out. These are of my old Escort that got totaled, which is why I now have the Tahoe. But like I said picks tonight of the hoe.

Gotta love insurance, $2800 bill, I only have to pay $400 of it. So happy, plus I really am getting to start on my new box this weekend, after I clean my garage. Its a sty right now.

wheels dont need to be masked off just covered while painting. Its been in and out of the booth getting different sections primered and rolled back out to the floor. When you roll it out to the floor you have to take the covers off. Pretty simple really.
im sorry if this offends you but i have answered it NUMEROUS times...why in the HELL would a reputable body shop let something happen to my rims? This is not Earl Sheib, Miracle, 1day or any other generic ass shop. Its not my redneck buddy working out of his garage (like i do). Its a high end, high quality, big dollar (they do EVERYTHING there) type of shop. Plus, the shop foreman is a LONG time friend who is taking extra care of me. There is nothing to worry about, if there was, i would be worried - but im not.
Sorry dude, didn't mean to push a button . Just hadn't seen anything said about that on this thread, I know there are more on the topic, but this is the one I read.
-
One thing just came to mind, why aren't your wheels masked off. All that sanding and chemicals and people, couldn't be good for them.
-
im not gonna lie dude. Im 27 and a complete hornball so i read that first line like 12 times lol.
o yea, the first line was great, necessary facts there. I just thought the guys comment was retarded and immature, sounded like he was twelve.

I stayed home for the first year of college, doing classes through a campus outreach. I moved out at 19 and lived with my Aunt and Uncle while finishing my first degree on campus. Went to the University of Wyoming on transfer after I got my associates. Lived with friends there, left after a semester at 21. Got a good job now and bought my first house almost 2 years ago at 23 (25 now).
