Later down on the rode, after have 2 12's for a bit, i'd like to add 2 more for a total of 4, could i just add another batterie coming off the batterie in the front like i did the first one? or would i have to run dual alternators, on top of another batterie?

Alright thanks so you saying, take a wire from the negative on the batterie to the frame as a ground? and still ground the amp?

So i would wire up my alt the same way it already is just using 0 guage wire?

Alright thanks when you mean grounded to the front batterie do you just mean a negative lead going from the front batterie to the back batterie and then just ground the amps to the frame? Also could i hook up a tweeter and speaker to the same channel?

Thanks, and like i said i'm very new to car audio, so i only know how to wire a very simple system up, can some one explain to me how you would wire a system up that has 2 batteries, higher output altenator, 2 amps, deck, 4 speakers, and 2 tweeters, i know it cant be that hard.

Right know i'm looking at rocksford fosgate speakers and tweeters, dont know which ones yet, but those are what i'm looking at, and i'm looking to do SPL.

I was looking into 2 12" kicker l7s, i found a website that makes a box specific for those subs and and an rx-8. Also what is a good amp to power 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, also what is a really good amp to get the full power out of those subs, also with that do i need an extra battery, upgraded altenator, stuff like that?

Ya i've been researching, i just dont know what speakers and subs are the best for what your paying, and how would you wire 4 speakers and 2 tweeters all into the same amp, also how do you wire 2 subwoofers into a mono amp?

Well right know i'd just like 2 subs, 4 speakers, 2 tweeters and a deck, and of course whatever amplifiers i'd need.

Hey everyone my name is ryan, i'm quite new to car audio, i dont have my license yet but i drive this summer, and i'd like to put a system in my car. I know the basics of car audio but i want to learn more about it, I was planning on getting a 2 channel amp for 2 subs and a 4 channel amp for my speakers, but my main question is, what are some good subs/amps/speakers, etc.... Also do i need to upgrade my altenator, or batteries or anything. Also how hard would it be to wire 4 12" subs, 4 speakers for all the doors, and some tweeters together? Thanks, Ryan
