    Ok. It's hard to make out if it's lit only when you turn it or if it's constant.

    First: did you check the signal coming from the head unit for your head units max clean volume as stated in the directions?

    Second: leave the head unit at the maximum clean volume, amp gain all the way down. Is the distortion light on or off when checking the amplifier output for distortion?

    Third: if the distortion light blinks only when you adjust volume or gain, then that's fine if it goes away when you stop. If it's constantly on, you need to back the gain down until it disappears.

    As long as you follow the direction book front to back, it's a pretty easy tool to use. The video wasn't too helpful in troubleshooting your issue, at least not to me.

    The battery is new and ill check the rca cable they look fine to me doe

    I notice the distortion comes on even setting the gain down maybe the head unit ?

    I'm thinking I'll disconnect the front speakers n see if that has anything to do

    You can't just look at a pair of RCA's and just say, "they look good to me". Doesn't work like that. As well, I can tell you didn't follow the instructions for the DD-1 because in it it specifically states to disconnect your speakers when tuning the amp.

    yes you are correct sir i did use the same RCA on the CC-1 and it was fine :) and i did read the instructions more then once i just wanted to show a quick video thats why i had music and had my speakers connected

    I can say I've personally used Dmat xtreme and stinger road kill, both great products, Dmat is over priced if you buy it from dealers, but going to sonic or other online stores not so bad, the stinger deadner I like more since there's no black lettering and looks cleaner. The stinger seems slightly easier to work with, I used cheap scissors to cut both, no issues really. Both are great products. I do plan on buying SS when I do the roof and second layers on the doors, after seeing numerous side by side comparisons and seeing it in person in some locals cars.

    from what I've seen in person, fat mat seems like peel n seal with a bigger price tag. FUCKING JUNK :) the shit falls off deck lids and roofs. leaves nasty stains, stinks and well fuck it lol. Down here on the gulfcoast it gets fucking hot and humid. I haven't seen audio technix in person so I can't comment. But the Dmat, stinger, and SS hold up well. I've had Dmat in my car for 4yrs, no issues.

    hope I get money coming in soon so I can order 50ft of damp pro :)

    dynamat is over priced if u dont know where to look yea i seen alot of websites got random prices on sonic website

    alot of products of 2nd skin hell idk which one to go for .... right now im thinkin just the damplifier for my lil race car but for my other ride im thinkin of goin all

    damplifier + over kill + Luxury Liner Pro or Spectrum thats for my crown victoria :)

    for me its worked fine :pardon: i did notice a big difference

    nothing has fallen off, it didnt even smell in my car. maybe the day i installed it but it never left a smell days or months after. i DIDNT install it on the roof tho so cant say anything as far as that.

    I would buy it if i was on a budget, if u have the money to afford SS then go for that.
