  1. Are people really this hard-headed? It's easy.

    Clean signal--->distortion--->clipping.

    Clean is good. That's what you want. This will pick up DISTORTION. Some people don't care if their sound gets distorted. That's fine, your car, do what you want. Distortion=/=Clipping. A scope will ONLY show you when you're clipping. Distortion will occur BEFORE clipping will.

    If you don't have a scope right now, then this DD-1 is (seems like, no personal experience lol) a fantastic way to save a few $$ and tune your system right. If you already have a scope, then chances are you're one of us guys who likes new toys, so there's no reason you shouldn't add this to your collection too.

    Personally, I have a tpi440 that I use for MUCH more than scoping amps. I use it on a daily basis, using almost every feature it has. So the DD-1 won't replace it. However, I'll probably pick one up when I can fit it in the budget.

    Just my $.02

  2. Hop is a cool ass dude too. A few of my friends run an entertainment business around here, setting up shows, promo, etc. Him and SwizZz did a show down here last month, we had a BBQ the day before and they came out, and they just kinda hung out for a while after the show. Signing autographs, joking around, just bullshitting. He even called me the next day and thanked me for coming out and said we might not hear from him for a while since we got him hooked on Xbox Live lol. One of the few artists I've met that actually gives a fuck about their fans. And he is one of the few new artists who actually has talent.

  3. What about sub up/port back? I dunno what car, what you want, etc. so it may not work for you, just an idea. If everything won't fit on one side, use two sides lol.

    Edit-bigger box with less power--more airspace means less cone control, so less power counteracts that. small boxes have better cone control, letting you overpower it and still be (somewhat) safe.

    Use that. If you follow directions and let it cure, it will actually be stronger than the glass. Meaning if your mirror falls off, it's gonna bring a chunk of the windshield down with it ;) I use it all the time at work, hasn't failed once out of about 500 different cars. O'Reillys has it too, just make sure it is Permatex brand. Not the knockoff shit they sell.
