  1. If i was gonna thread it through i'd rather solder it and not just twist and tape thats a rigged way of doing it. I also dont want to pull my panels off because it came undone or some junk like that, taping was when i was young and was just like oh electrical tape it lets get this thing rocking stage, now im about getting it done right and nice.

ya i understand but it is just door speakers, not like theyre creating a great amount of force.

i guess i jus wouldnt waste the time of soldering them, but thats me

  2. I just got a set of 6-1/2's and a set of 6x9's and was wondering what would be the best size of wire for them 10,12, or 14 ? What do u guys think of the stinger twisted wire it comes with that plastic covering to keep the wires all nice and together? One last question whats a good site to find dash kits and wiring harnesses any help is appreciated.

i use crutchfield, and for speaker wire, are they going to be running off an amp?

  3. is what the same thing? the other outputs? the "front" and "rear" outputs will send a full range of the music and work with certain EQ settings on your deck. the subwoofer output only sends the lows and works with other EQ settings.

dam, here i thought i was done ripping my dash apart...

guess not, thanks one more question

under the carpet in my trunk there is really really thin sheet metal, can i use it as a ground or what cuz i cant find nothing else that is easily accesible

  4. you mean on the back of the head unit there is a red and white rca female for "front" "rear" and just one rca female for the subwoofer, correct? those are all outputs. use a spliter on that single subwoofer rca.

dam looks like i gotta rip everything out again... isnt it that same thing though? i am gettin mixed answers on google here
