  1. What makes the difference between a 12v system and a 14 or 16v system? Just the type of batteries? Or do you have to change something with the electrical too

    sooo if i want to have a 16v system. i need to get 14v batteries and have my alternator charge at 16v

    12v system = 12v batts charging at 14v

    14v system = 14v batts charging at 16v

    16v system = 16v batts charging at 18v

  2. Im loving it.....loving the 8 18s....watch for pstone11 build of my hummer...lol bought from mikey....going with 8 level6 18s.....

    Thanks man.. I also wanted level 6 .. but i wasnt gonna be able to have the electrical to fully power them.Plus Xls are more 4th order friendly :)Ill keep am eye on yr build.Are you keeping mikeys old wall? Or building a new one?

    i just got the subs today...

    mounting 8 18s 'inverted' is a lot of work.... lol

    im hoping to have it playing soon.

    there will be plenty of vids ;)

    About the same amount of work as 4 level 6s 18s lol..

    Im curious as to how the other 2 cutouts are, since I only see 6 18s in the pic.

    theres 4 on each side, V shapped 4th order.

    no loading wall yet. gotta fine tune my sealed sides first, shooting for low 40s tunning ;)
