  1. Any word on 14v or 16v versions being added Nathan?

How about 14v or 16v batteries? Please please please

    14V will not be included.

The XP1000 is the 16V, but at this time they are not included in the discount. Right now it is only for the 12V XP Series. This is mainly because the online mobile audio dealers do not move a lot of 16 and 14V batteries, and with online sales a customer that is not well informed can purchase a 16V battery and mess a lot of stuff up. If there is enough interest in the 16V XP1000 I will see what I can do.

He said maybe on the 16v if enough interest is shown, but doubt enough, if any, has been shown.

    hmmm

    im down to buy 5 xp1000's or d1600's ...

    anyone else ?>

been waiting for this group buy for a while <_<

  3. figured it out. charging at a smooth 14.5 volts!

    What was the problem?

did you have some kind of knob you can turn to adjust the voltage?

i almost dont even want to say cause its embarrassing lol. :noob:. but it may help someone in the near future. in the box with the alternator it comes with a wiring harness. i thought it was just a extender. cause my wires BARELY fit on the mechman alternator i had, i had to re route them to get them to fit and it was still extremely tight. but no.... you need it. just plugged it in to my factory plug and then pluged the other end in. on the side that goes to the alternator it has a wire comming off that has a ring terminal on it. that goes on the copper post of the alternator. and bam everything works like a perfectly! i feel stupid, but now my dash lights arnt strobing :woot:

hmm, yeAH that harness has a lil voltage regulator built in ...

DC sends the preadjusted so all u have do to is plug in and play

  4. Dont quote me on any of this, I am just basing this off of my conversations with Rusty about the neos.

The neo is stronger than the ferrite and the cooling is much better. The price of the current Neo wont go down due to the cost of material, but I wouldnt put it past Rusty to redesign it to bring the price down and make it affordable again.

if price dont come down , the only way to make them 'affordable' again would be to use less NEO , and somehow make it just as strong or even stronger than 1st version.

    doesnt sound easy <_<

but i would love for this to happen :santa:

    back on topic ,

How would them NEO'S perform on A 4th order ?
