  1. 6x9 suck imo... but i have infinty kappa 60.9cs and 50.90.cs and theyre ok.. i choose them b/c they are 2ohm, and the amp i have to get the power i need needs to be ran in 4ohm... for the money.. theres defiently some better options out there!

not to mention all this stuff comes out to like 70 bux before shipping... more than i i spent on the mdf,lol not really trippin over the money but dont like wasting money either! so wanna make sure it performs properly the first time around, i appreciate you guys input and would appreciate a lil more as i wanna astart building saturday

  3. hey whats up bro, yeah thats what i was kinda thinking? thas why i wondered if it may be better to move ports to front, but if i do that then id have to put a either 90 degree eblow on the port or a 45 degree... which i wouldnt think that would be a issue since most slot ports are 90 degrees.. but again i have no idea.. i jsut want it to sound the best that it can! plus if ports were in front it'd be a like a revrse flow a/c system lol all the air movement

  4. according to calculator on psp.. they need to be 21.1118 long for a 35hz tune... now my box is 56 wide the hump is 15.5 wide so that leaves 19.5 inchs of room for the ports. so in my eyes (and i am by NO means experinced in this) i either need to curve/bend the ports to accomodate the extra length, or move the ports to front of enclosure and 90 then to accomodate the length.. will there be diffrence in performancewith dooing ports one of these ways mentioned?

  5. so heres my box design, 4 SA-8's lil under 2.4 cubes tuning id like to be @ 35hz.planned to use 2 4" aeros internal/external flare, but im not quite sure on the length that I need to accomplish this. was hoping someone could chime in and help get me where I need to be, any help is greatly appreicated! http://s640.photobucket.com/albums/uu126/jtbuck92/1%20dollar%20box%20designs/?action=view&current=jontravis4sa-8sunderseatxray.png

thanks man, 100% done by ME! ive got full chrome under caraige in my living room chillin till cars painted along with a closet full of other new parts ive been stackin up for last year or so.. ,lol basically jsut gota find time to paint it then get interior done... interior will be the only thing that doesnt get done by me.. i kinds quit gettin in LIL to many haters and kids... they on every forum/site i know but local haters have kinda left a sour taste in my mouth so to speak for lowriding.. so I taking a year of and focusing on building my truck.. nothing fancy jsut a daily.. 01 gmc sierra ext cab 2/4 drop on 24"s gettin ready to install (4) SUNDOWN sa 8"S under rear bench seats, off a cresendo 3k 3.0cubes 34hz upgraded elctrical etc etc blah blah blah, lol

  7. oh also only thing ill change is that the port will be on top side of box instead of bottom as theres a small hump in the floor, there fore the bottom of the box will be a fiberglass mold of the actuall floor to utilize every inch under them seats ;)

  8. Called Mechman and ordered it. Just for clarification, I got the dual alt adjustable voltage wiring harness...not dual alternators.

BTW that car is sick, I love lowriders. Do you have a build log anywhere for that? I would love to see it.
