i told you before, use the black CA glue. itll work for everything. and i personally never use activator on a recone.
what do you think about using jbweld or eboxy

FUCK what other options do i have that i can pick up at walmart or advanced auto parts im getting my recone monday so im not waiting anylonger to order something else ive seen people recone subs on youtube with jbweld and epoxy

it says the cure time on the back of the bottle i already bought it a member in chat said it was the right stuff so i went ahead and got it
cure times only 2 mins

what do you mean you got the 270 instead you paid for the 200 and got a higher amp alt? idk i didnt ask if it failed just if he would take it back if it didnt do rated power ill have to ask him about that. idk i would pay 300 for a 200amp alt if i had good customer service in case it did fail. idk i just really dont wana spend much more then 300 for an alt i mean 500 i could put the engine i want in my car so i just dont see me spending more then 300

i messaged the guy asking him if the alt puts out rated power and at what rpm and this is what he sent back
Hi,The alternator will give you 220A in high RPM not idle in 2500RPm when you are driving and come with overdrive pulley smaller pulley to get more power in idle,the alternator is tested and i am installing 6X100A diode and small pulley you can try it If you don't like it You can send it back I will refund your mney,but you can get only 70A In idle and over 1200RPM and higher you can get 120A and in 2500RPM 220A,Thanks
now my question is if i buy an alt from say advanced auto parts and its rated at 130a like a stock srt4 alt that i can use in my car is that at idle or at driving rpm. and what do you guys think of that alt i think its a rather good price and if it does rated i think thats good enough for what im planning to run an ap1800 and a duel 4x50 amp.

thank you for rewording my post my cd player has rca outs but there going to be used for on my ap1800 my cd player has settings to set the one pair of rca outs i have to do eather rear speakers or subwoofer. i could prolly make my own plug easy enough so i guess my question was if i use the high ins that have + - and ground on them instead of wiring the ground can i use the remote wire from my stereo to the remote of the amp

id look on ebay find a seller with good feedback i just messaged a guy on there asking if i bought a 220 amp alt for my neon if it didnt put out rated if he would let me bring it back for a refund.

so ive been seeing some threads in here about peoples cars getting broken into or rifled threw and such and shit being stolen and i do not want that to happen i rather learn from other peoples mistakes instead of have to learn from my own. so for security i have a 98 neon no p/l or p/w yet i will be adding them in the future but for right now im looking for an alarm thats <300 that is good im not sure how alarms work so if someone could help me that would be awsome do they work when the door is open or is there a sensor that knows when the car has moved slightly. id like an alarm that will go off if my car moves at all like the wieght of it being hit by another car or by someone touching it or getting inside as well as if my door opens. do they have kits like that im looking for a kit that i can lock my car to but like i said i wont have p/l or p/w for a bit but i want the option. also ive heard of tint that is super hard to break like it reenforces your windows and such what do you guys know about that. thanks in advance for any help and insight

so ive got this duel amp and im planning to use the high ins but i dont have the plugs so i was gona try and make my own plugs the + and - are labeled on the amp so i can get that right my question is where could i get these plugs instead of having to do this also can i wire the romote on instead of wiring the grounds on the high inputs

um go on caco and check out there amp benched section the ap1500 does more then rated. if u took a peak inside my ap1800 u wouldnt be saying hifonics is better made id say my ap1800 is a beast as far as cea rated my duel amp that comes from walmart is cea rated sooo......

why not just get 12 gauge? they are qs you arent going to be running 10kw through them. Alot of people over due it on the speaker wire for no reason.
im running 8g on my se 12s thats just cause it looks sexy. you should be fine with 12 like n8 said though but if ur set on 8 get 8 having more then enough is better then having not enough.

I'm really curious about this paint... I'm wanting to paint trim panels and such only thing that's making my scared it docent have a hardner therefore it's basically spray paint let me know how it is
i wont know till prolly mid summer got a few other things i need to work on on my neon but ill prolly start a build log here twards the end of may when i get my system up and ready and the paintjob will be included in that

i wana go with aero ports. so im thinking 1-2 6" aeros can someone explain to me why more port area is better when i can get the same tuning with less?
im trying to be able to do 140s on music not on a tone btw. thanks again for everyones help this is my new idea a little big bigger box more port higher tune tell me what you guys think

i dont wana order anything i want to use this bish as soon as i get it. as far as power most its gona get is 700 rms possibly 800. idk ill have to look and get something that is ok for foam anything thats not should say right?
