as for x over im not sure. and i rather not run 3 differnt amps that way i can have front, rear and left / right controll with my reciever with out all the problems i might run into by doing 3 amps. what was said about the 70 / 3 makes sence think i may look into a larger amp. but my thing is i dont want to be able to cause any distortion i wana stay with in the rms to eliminate the distortion aspect

ive been wanting to do a 3 way set up in my car for a while im in the planning stage still as funds are not there but i have a question related to rms and loudness. the plan is to have one 4 channel amp running 4 3 way set ups @ 4 ohms each door is gona have its own 3 way speaker set up in it these are the drivers i plan to use

every review for those drivers is amazing and some people are using them in cars for the same thing i plan to use. im not sure what to cross them at might play around till i find the best sound.

that amp does 70 rms @ 4 well bellow the woofers rms now my question is sending 70 rms to each 3 way i shouldnt be able to distort the speakers aside from clipping them but im worried that the 3 ways will sound good but wont get as loud as id like. my goal is to have a system that is amazing to listen to but is rather loud but not over poweringly loud.
for my sub stage im not sure if i can fit it yet but i plan to build my other re se motor into a 12 and put it in a t-line in my trunk sealed off firing into the cabbin.
using this amp
wondering if bostons amps are legit and do rated and sound good?
looking for thoughts,opinions, and advice i really wana do a all dayton 3 way in each door these speakers " judging by the reviews in car audio aplications" seem like they would do exacly what i need.

An eclipse and a neon are completely different...
depends what year and if ur talking cab space or engine engine wise some years are the same or similar. ik a eclise is a hatch. but still wanting to do the idea in mine. his 18s where just chilling in his back seat.
unless you can put subs into the engine compartment, that has absolutely nothing to do with the conversation LOL
just stating wasnt saying they were the same just saying that is something like what i wana do.

is there a way i can hook my ps2 up to my laptop via there ethernet ports. i searched on google but i was unsure how to word it and didnt find anything.

mines only vented in the basket if i got a diff coil with this motor wich i may do with some comps then i could plug the pole vent. ima look into what i can do with these motors

yes i ment pole vent. and alright looks as though i wont plug it. the way they do comps here for this class is music so i dont think plugging the vent would help me out at all it kinda seemed rather silly anyhow.

ive read that you can be louder by plugging your vent hole but i feel like my sub would over heat?
i have an re se that im gona take to some comps so im trying to do w,e i can to get louder can someone tell me the pros and cons of doing this

2 18s are not fitting in ur trunk. how ever if you are truely dedicated you can or might be able to fit 2 18s in a box on ur back seat.

my advice to you being that i have a 98 neon and know what a neons trunk looks like is to do 2 12s trunk sealed facing the cab u would do better numbers then trying to stuff an 18 in the trunk

i like fi's recones-just saying- never used fixmyspeaker but when i reconed my 12" re se it came with a flatwound coil something i didnt pay extra for

i really like that DDZ12 but the n3 is pretty nasty as well wonder how well they would compare to each other if at all? the n3s half the price though so im thinking there wont even be any comparison

electrical needs to be worked on looking into getting an alt made last time i asked i think the biggest i could get was a 200amp
that and as many batts as it takes to run my 4k amp
as far as not doing 2 bad ass 10s i want a retardedly bad ass 12
and 4 cubes is my max really 6 is but then i dont have trunk space for batterys

so after owning just a single 12" re se 12. ive decided that i want to do a single 12 set up but i want something alot better then a se im looking for pure spl something that you guys have seen people get 140s+db at 30 ish herts
looking for a 12 that can perform very well in 4 cubes or under and withing mid 20 to mid 30s
power the sub would be getting is 4k
planning to use this in a trunk car sub firing forword trunk sealed
i was looking into the fi n312 maxed d1 with cooling and 7 spiders.
advice/recomendations?
