drive it home with another cars plates, thats what i did aslong as you have a bill of sale and title.
just dont get pulled over on the way home like i did, cop tought the teg was stolen...either that or he was hating on our ppl.
he didnt give you a ticket? i can do that too but idk i dont wanna risk it kinda. i might just tow it home. my friend had different tags on his when he bought one and he was speeding like a dumbo and he didnt have the title (he agreed with the guy on payments and the guy would give him the title when paid off) and he was infront of me i was behind him (so cops couldnt read plates) his car was silver so was mine. and there was a cop then when he turns on the sirens my friend took a side street and dipped off. cop thought it was me FTL

you cant drive a car without plates and insurance period. they dont care if you just bought it. Would be a good time to buy it and watch it get impounded 20 miles down the road wouldnt it?
yeah i just htought since i just bought it they would cut me slack lol that would suck major balls.

oh and btw my dads friend owns a dealer and said he can give me a 24 hour 1 day little paper permit but my dad still said if i get pulled over on the way home i can still get a no insurance ticket?

well im going to look at a car on saturday, its a 1991 nissan 240sx with a fresh rebuilt engine (new everything and port and polished head) about 14k ago, with new clutch. hes a certified mechanic. and new lsd differental tie rods and front bushings. only bad thing is car needs new struts and a fender. its pretty cheap so if it runs good im going to get it. but its 2 hours away. im taking my dad and 2 of his mechanic friends with me to make sure i dont get ripped. only question is my dad said i cant drive it home without tags or insurance but if i get pulled over cant i just say i just bought it and taking it home? also im in missouri and that car is in kansas if that matters. but what can i do? my dad said he can tow it home with his tahoe. but i wanna drive it home
best part is its a 2 door hatchback, wont take much to get loud. im got tired of my trunk car. -

well i met up with the guy yesterday and got the trade done. turns out they were cs6.5s not c6.5s. oh well. they were bnib. he gave me 100 cash on top.and i got the other set off my friend. cant wait to have a set per door FTMFW

wait so your saying im getting the bad end of the deal? my amp is mint other then i lost a speaker terminal screw lol his are bnib never been opened. he just said he only has 100 ftl. shoudli still do it? i already have set. just gotta wait to meet up for friend to pick them up

i just bought the dd c6.5 comp kit, off a friend for 100 bnib, ive never heard them and im getting them tommorow.. any reviews on them? anyone heard them? i think they are like 180 new from dd. so i know im geting a deal. also i noticed there are some wiht a dust cap like a sub on the mid and another with a bullet type thing on it? what exactly are the differences between those mids? like heres a link to what mine loook like http://forum.soundpressure.com/showthread.php?t=3567

Sweet thanks man. I guess I got it now! This should be more then 3k knowing sundown =) better then the audiopipe 3k and cheaper! Well not cheaper but its cheaper to get another one and add to my collection lol because someone told me you can't strap below 2 ohm so I was like dang. Then I just read it gets cut in half by each amp and each amp would see 1 ohm FTW

Alright sweet. So any rca will work or do I need a special one from jacob? Lol I know for sure to do the br output to the input on the slave. And I know for sure to connect the negatives together. So the master is basically positive and the slave negative? I'm only going to have one lead of pos and neg so I put the pos in the masterr and neg in the slave pos input? And that would give me 1 ohm at each amp?

I have a saz1500 and need 3k and I have 2 subs that are dual 2s.. so I can get a 2 ohm or .5. I was going to sell my amp and get a audiopipe 3k but I started thinking and realized I could pick up a used saz1500 for cheaper then a 3k.. and better quality and power. Only thing is would I be able to strap them with my options? I saw a write up and saw I need a rca to go from output of master to input of slave. Okay I got that. Then connect the negs together. Check. Then I saw 2 pos leads come out of the master and 2 pos leads come out of the slave but I think if I read those correctly the positive leads coming out the slave are the negatives? He said the ohm load gets cut in half so if I strap and wire my subs toghether for 2 ohm each amp would see 1 ohm? Sorry I'm new to this whole strapping amps thing and wanted to see if this would work betore I buy the amp.. would I have to use both positives and negatives or can I use just one positve and neg? Since ill only have one lead coming out for 2 ohm. Sorry for this long write up just trying to make sure I got this right! Lol thanks

well im just going to recone them.. new parts, cone etc. and going to use a full cone inverted carbon fiber dustcap yummmmmm they are about a year old now and will just like to have new subs.

well i just bought some subs dirt cheap, 2 13 psi ed recones. only thing is the surrounds have some great stuff on them.. they still work 100% fine! but is there anyway to remove the great stuff safley>

who said i was gonna go huge? maybe one or 2 10s but thats it. i alrady have the sebring which i plan to wall later on in life lol i plan on doing alot of work to it. my dads friend that has the dealer also has a trailer that he tows cars with that he said he will let us borrow so i guess ill just tow it lol hope all goes well!
