I'm not planning to keep them. Going to use them for a while then sell them. I'm going to bring my dmm to check the coils as well. I'm sure its posible to get an idea of the coil color. Even a hint of the coil would work. He's going to play them for me and ill see them with trunk open and ill try to check for any weird noises.

Ill give them a listen today. I'm going to pull both subs out the box and check the coils, tinsel leads and spiders. What if the subs are still stiff?

Going to trade my 2 12 dc lvl 3s for 2 10 rf power hx2s (4in coils!!!) in a box tuned to 38hz. 1.25 per sub. its oging to be a straight up trade. heres the cl ad http://kansascity.craigslist.org/ele/2271818723.html hes the original owner since 03 lol what you guys think of those subs? they are dual 2s so im going to get a audiopipe 3k and run it at 2ohm. good trade or no? wouuld they get louder then the lvl 3s? the lvl 3s are in a 1.5 per sub tuned to 42hz off rockford t1000. i know im downing cone area but these subs are most beastly and upping power.

Look at the planet audio Big Bang series. I have clamped a bb2400.1 doing 1400w with rise from 1 to 4ohms and 12v
looks like thats the amp ill most likely get.! thanks bro!! they come with birth sheets and most say around 2k

i have dual 4s so i can either get a 2 ohm load seperate or 1 ohm load in parallel. i thought those amps dont like being ran at 1 ohm? i heard 3k at 2 ohm.

Ive had lvl 3s longer.the sa12s were louder. but so much things were better in that setup.. big 3, bigger back battery, awsome box (45s resin bracing more port and space etc) and had a saz1500. this trunk is smaller with less room to work with. plus this car is more sq.

also i want it to be audible difference if i go from the rf to another amp lol ill be soo mad if i go thru all this work just for a small difference. if you guys catch my drift. wasting money is Ftl!

Audiopipe 1800? I was going to say AQ2200D, but that doesnt fit your budget..maybe look for a used one?
ive heard bad reviews about audiopipe lol and btw i have a 130amp alt, 4 gauge run to the back, 0 gauge ground and hc800 in back. thats my voltage. gonna do big 3 later down in summer when it warms up

i have them in a 1.5 per sub box ported off a rockford t1000.1bd (the tan and black ones) at one ohm and i need more power.. the subs dont move much and amp is oscoped! lol! any ideas on a good amp? im selling the rockford tommorow hopefully for 225 and id like to keep it under 300 if possible.. any ideas? im eyeing that soundstream txi.2000d thats for sale here but idk if it does rated. cant see a fuse rated and it says it runs 4 gauge.. so idk i want to push them decently!

And btw how do I clean the windows with tint? I know on outside just nromal windex or something but do I just clean them like normal on the inside?

yeah no doubt i will lol if i dont get pulled over in 2 months ill tint my windshield, i just dont wanna push my luck idk how strict the cops are against tint around here (first car ever tinted this dark)

Just drove at night, at first i was leaving work so i was like damn its dark in here lol but i could see perfect. i thought it wasnt that dark i was like fuck yeah! then i left and got on the street and i was like holy. lol i couldnt really see out my mirrors and i would have to look over my shoulder to switch lanes lol and taking turns sucked too since i had to look thru my driver side window and it was black lol i could really see the cars or lanes, just the head lights. but its not THAT bad i think the light from the windshield is helping too. I also drove where there werent really any street lights and i could see shit. lol but its not as bad as i thought.! pretty cool actually people not able to see you and people saying damn he has dark ass tint lol def worth 70 bucks!

i think tint darkens as it settles. thats just me.
