exactly what i was thinking. you could easily fit 4 or even 6 15's behind the front seats box going half way into the trunk. i would at least save up and buy 2 more then wall 4. 2 15's walled in a malibu would look kinda funky lol. if it was me and had 2 15's and no money to buy 2 more i would build the box in the trunk for 2 15's sealed from the trunk completely. just my .02
maybe 4 not 6. need room for port too. and i've already tried the sealed off idea. wouldn't have enough room. i could save some money up. but that money saved for 2 more 15's would multiply because i would need a new alt batts wires etc..

Oh ok i just got back in from making a "template" of the trunk opening so i kno where to cut. im probably just going to cut 2 one board inside the cabin and one in the trunk where im sealing it off and just fill the middle with great stuff.

nate the guy with the walled off AQs he also had RD audio heavy wieghts too. i can get u his pic by pic build log if u want. was a team mate when we were team RD.
if you could that'd be great. but if its too much trouble dont worry about it.

Oh ok, the loudest i've gotten in my car with the hdc3's and the zx1000's was a 144.8 then a week later i tore it all out

Yeah i've seen 15's walled too. just wondering in particular how people did with HDC315's walled. it would be going in a 2000 Chevy Malibu

box volume is about 7.5 cubes and on that box there is no port just kind of a picture saying thats what im going to end up doing.

Now i would brace the middle with something. anyone think that would be ok. Because i know that middle will be weak. i may even be able to tripple baffle it.

I'm going to be building a box with in the next month or two and the max dimensions i have are 36" wide, 24" depth, and 19" high. well my problem is im not sure how/where to mount them. considering if i had a port 5 inches wide. that wont leave me enough to have the 15's mounted side by side. and im sceptical(sp) on making the port smaller. Anyone have any ideas?

hahaha nah i didnt get it yet, but i heart dropped because i was so close to getting it that day lol. still doing a little searching but so far one means mom and the other means mother. just not sure which one is which lol.
