hit up MECHMAN or DC POWER for the 200 amp alt.
the biggest i got from ebay was a 175 amp alt. works wonders in my 97 civic hatch and way better then the stock 60 amp alt.
got mine for $150 shipped. i got what i could afford at the time. MECHMAN and DC POWER have 250 amp alt apps i think. they are higher in price, but higher in quility as well. cant go wrong with them.

im not too positive on this but ill give it a shot since your looking for a hand/ ideas
the RCA pre-outs might have went bad. mine did the samething. one day it was fine, the next, FUZZ!
i fixed it by grounding out the RCA's. dont remember exactly how i did it since it was so long ago. pioneer HU are known for that shit.

try using seafoam. its a liquid product that helps clean up engine composits, injectors, ect. it worked a number on my car so good, it hepled it pass smog. no bad for $5 bucks.

my 6000k (pure white) stands out alot. had them for about a month now. no problems with the law yet. the bluer you get, the more of a chance you getting some cops attention.
