  1. That number refers to the pre out voltage of the deck. Don't trust it to set your amp up worth a damn, get a DD-1 or Scope to set it right.

    nooooooo, thats the gain

Yes the "level" knob is the gain knob, the 0.2v to 6v however refers to the pre out voltage of the deck and is meant for "matching" purposes when setting an amp (which are worthless). It gets louder when he turns it towards 0.2 because the amplifier would have to amplify a 0.2v signal much more than a 6v signal, and vice versa.

i get what your saying, but i dont understand why they have to be so complicated about it, when i had mine i had a buddy set mine with a scope but i remember playing with it before that, ass freaking backwards >.>

  2. Yeah... There is only one wiring harness going into the antenna

so its like the pic that kranny posted? alright, there will infact be 3 diffrent plugs pluged into the brain right now, atenna/valet/led, the valet is gray and black, the led is red and blue, the red and blue is what you want to unplug from the brain, so you need to find where they mounted the brain, and like i said the led and valet plugs are on the right side of the brain if your looking at it with the viper logo staring at your face (upright and such) if im wrong its on the other side, if you cant see the wire colors themselfs if i remember correctly the plug itself is BLUE on the led, so just unhook that

  3. amp pics this is regaurding where it says level from 6v to .2v

when i turn it closer to .2 it gets louder is it the gain or is it the deck pre out voltage

i really wish i remembered, fuuuuuu, i always hated those gains because its ass backwards, i think 6 is low .2 is high? dont quote me i just remember it being wacky

  4. Oh, and those SA-10's are only 600-1000 watts? Then what the fuck are you talking about wiring two subs together doesn't change RMS? If you run those "about" 1000w RMS subs at 1 ohm on that amp, they're going to get 2k watts as a pair(2k EACH), according to what you said right? Obviously not, you wouldn't do that unless you were trying to kill those subs. So, you just proved your previous statement wrong, and answered my question all in one?

2k each? Wtf are you on about? he has a bit over 2k going to the 2 subs, as in 1 and a bit to each, he was trying to help you, try not to jump down his throat....

lol what, if you wire two subs together that are rated at 500 apiece, youd want 1000watt amp, so youd be seeing 500 a piece, because itll split between the two, it does not mean now that you wired the subs together that there rated 1000 a piece, there rated 1000 together...not that difficult

  5. electric cars iirc run off 500? dont quote me on that, but as said it does have a seperate charging system for accessory's just like a normal car, its really no different just that the 500v has to do with the engine itself, but at this point in time the technology is not capable of converting that 500 or so volts into 12volts, your best bet is to upgrade the electrical on a normal car and get some batts :drink40:

  6. No offense, and not that I would direct anyone to a different site or forum, but I believe Crescendo has its own section on CACO. Would not going to the source be more efficient to find the answers you are looking for? Even if you were to get posts in here would it not be the same answers you have been receiving? Getting the information directly from the manufactuer is your best option.

I basically am the source. I asked Navid directly when I saw this post. He gave me the response I posted above to copy paste.

    Well that answers that then!

Is Navid the owner of Crescendo?

    yes
