its not the max size im doing a bit smaller then max i still have like 2ft3 i can add to max it out but its not needed in his truck
-
I believe he said in the 40s in the video i may be wrong.
o ok lol my boys box is going to be 35.40hz with a 3.5"x16'x18" port box is going to be 4.64ft3 cant wait i might make it so i can change out the port like mine but idk we will see how it sounds after words lol
-
whats the box tuned to with the way u had to do the port and all
-
This right here is what I'm driving.
96 Isuzu Hombre, same as an S10.
Two ten inch L7s hitting mid 140s
nice about the same as im doing with my boys s-10 but the port will share a common wall with the rest of the box so i can squeeze a lower tuning but port will be same area of the box pluse the box is a little bit bigger for 3 12's but yea we shall see how it turns out
-
That what my buddy has is a sealed... s10s can get loud as fuck
yea its funny how some people out here have nice stuff but shit 4 systems and my boy roles up and all they hear is highs so they laugh then he turns the bass up and they just drop there chins to the floor
-
im building a box for my boy he has a 94 s-10 with 3 12s in a sealed box that slams now im going to make him a ported box that should make his truck a bit louder
-
unless you have had a hatchback.. or heard hatchbacks, or anything with them... why are you giving opinions in a hatchback thread? for all this yes
I own one, and my original post was a lot more informative than your little thread jack to show a pic of your ride....
as far as thread jack didnt try to so once again just chill damn is this all uyou have to do right now is bitch god your worse then my ex and thats efin bad all u like to do is start drama its like being back at school when i deal with people like you so have fun other wise time to ignore you bye
-
no shit for brains its an open area for sound and air to travel and being a hatch they are more like angled boxes so in the mater of having sound travel if you get it to reverberate/echo off just the right angle it in turn will make it louder along with every thing else in the car/truck/suv being just so you should in turn get better results in your numbers long as its the right box size, frequency and location anything is possible so that would really not make any diff in any vehicle so i really think you need to calm down and not get your panties in a bunch and get off the rag thanks and have a great night
-
they are still about the same concept just diff size vehicle and for the and the angles in witch the sound will be bouncing off of are not that much diff so chill dont get all flustered about it just giving some opinions and ideas so good job on stating the obvious
-
nice break room for the what WIN lol sounds like a pimp job
-
im lovin the ported 1 thats deff sexy right there

you could also try to scuff the glass a little. its a bit more time consuming, and you have to tape off the area, but most of the reason why glue sucks on glass is because its so smooth. theres nothing for the adhesive to seep into or grip.
lol i just did that b4 u posted lol now some time tomorrow i will see how good it holds lol
-
Take it off. I just leave the little metal thing attached to the window and take my mirror of whenever. I loosened the screw enough to allow me to slide it off easily but also keep the mirror up if I choose to put it up
mine doesnt have the screw its got the damn clip inside so its harder to get off lol well that didnt sound right
-
My buddy use the rear view mirror glue, and also used super glue around the edge... It looks good and he has not had any problems as of yet going 5 months strong...
iight cool bc i have tryed just the mirror glue just crazy glue 5min appoxie and no avail thanks ill try both together didnt think of that
-
what glue would work best for keeping the rear view mirror from falling of i would like to know its getting really annoying lol fixed it like 3 times already a lil help here please and thanks

change tires to the other side as in switch left for right and left for right. until you get it fixed that is. get another 3 months out of thoes tires atleast.

find a junk yard and get some cheap stock rims and get it done or look for a cheap set of stock ones on CL some people dont care and sell stock ones on there for like 100-200 and that way u can save them for when u need a spare too other then that if the kit was just springs then get the springs switched out and get the same drop with a smaller spring and a drop spindle so if u have a 3" drop spring get 3" drop spindles but if u cant find them then get 1" drop springs and 2" drop spindle because the spring drop will change the aliment but the spindles dont so the less u do with springs the better hope this helps and good luck i have to do the same with my GMC Jimmy
