about to switch my order to http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_35819_RE-Audio-XTX5000.1.html
I cant make my fucking mind up
-
I emailed crescendo....but I also found this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22707_Hifonics-HFi1500D.html
HFi line does not do rated, STAY AWAY!
that is why I got the brz1700
You'll probably be getting 800 at 2ohms, which will probably be fine. Just don't clip it wanting more power
It is going to be a lot better than my old amp that was barely moving my bl

you guys are looking at the fuse ratings wrong. something i read on fusing.
just for future references, a good spec to look at is the fuse rating.
40a x 5
40 amps * 5 = 200 amps
200 * 14.4 = 2880
2880 * .8 (typical class D efficiency) = 2304
hmm your close.. try this..
I measure 12.8V, take 65% eff and my amp have two 30 amp fuse:
30A * 2 = 60A
60A + 1/3 = 80A (current point to blast fuse)(sinwave input-----squarewave output)
Now we need to calculate the RMS output value ...we will use 60A value
60A * 12.8V = 768VA
768VA * 0.65 = 499 ...say 500Watt RMS output
it is a simple maths formula which is average power = work done (unit of work is the the Joule) divided by time taken (unit of time is the second)
the unit of power = Joule/second (J/s)
Si unit of power is watt (w) = 1 J/s
so what we are looking for her is work done = force x distance to give us the Joule.
then we can work out how many watts it putts out which is power = work done/ second will give you how many watts anything is putting out
Hmm. English? Lol my brain just pooped out.
Same

@autos: The Rockford amps comes with 3x30A fuses. So roughly 900w max. Pretty close to rated. I got this info off the original link in your first post. Just click Features & Specs and its listed under that
and where can I get the crescendos online?
-
Will the fosgate do the rated power?
-
I need a new amp that is 2ohm stable at at least 1000rms what are some good choices without breaking the bank? I found this fosgate one for real cheap. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_25750_Rockford-Fosgate-PRIME-R1000-1D.html#tabs
anyone else got any other ideas?( dont say Pyle of shit, or Lamezar)

On a 2004 WRX STi, I've seen its power and speed, but its strange that with some upgrades to a Mitsubishi, it can go past 160, the thing is, how can you really make a Subaru like that get higher speeds (not higher starting speed) without breaking the engine, and other options that are not nitrux. Thank you in advance !
Swap out the tiny 4cyl for something bigger and you will go faster http://www.jegs.com/i/World-Products/955/108061/10002/-1?parentProductId=758062

You think you got it bad? I went to the hospital because I thought I had real bad pains in my abdominal area and $4800 later the doctor told me (His exact words) I had to take a huge shit.
