  1. size and tuning? look up the manual we cant do everything for you or else youll learn nothing. btw you wont get crazy insane "spl" from a single RF T1

im using two t1 15....im planning to tune to 30khz and 8 cubic feet...is it ok?so how will the box position...?what is the dffrences btween pointing the potted towards driving seat or hatch back?is it will effect my spl level in box position?

    pls help me..

  2. why dont you tell us SOMETHING about your system. brand, model, size and quantity of subs. what car is this for? what do you plan to tune to? what size is the box your going to make?

im using t1 15" 4 ohm x 2....amp t1001bd....my car is hatchback....im using my for my own only....i wANnt better spl position for my box..what is the position ?i dont know about the size n tuning yet...any suggestion?

  3. if you have 8 cubes of total space, then everything will get deducted from that. such as wood, port, sub, and bracing displacement. 8 cubes is GROSS volume, while the volume you get after subtracting all displacements is NET volume. so if you want a net volume of 8 cubes, then the port volume will be extra volume added to the overall box

ive done my box length...what is the good tuning for my box?im using double t1...ive been making 8 cubic feet box by its volume...what is the good tuning for my woofer ?

  4. and the port size is up to you,it depends on what frequency you want the box tuned to. now port tunning and the cross over frequency that you tune the sub to are two seperate things,so don't get that part mixed up. the first thing you want to know is how many cubic feet of air space both subs will require and how many cubes you have in your car or wherever the box is going.it's at this point you can decide how you want to build your box.

i want to make vented enclosure port...if my box is 8 cubic feet..do i have to add extra space for my port?or 8 cubic feet is already enough?

  5. 1 cubic feet is the equivalent to 12inches by 12 inches by 12 inches. think of a shipping box that's that size.

we break that down to 12x12x12=1728 cubic inches.

so a box tht' 38x40x18 is 27,360 cubic inches . divide that by "1 cubic foot/1728 cubic inches" .. and you get 27360/1728 = 15.83 cubic feet

    Thats just an example.

The fact of the matter is though, if you don't understand the math involved, then you need to understand how to shell out some money and have someone else build your boxes.

even if my woofer is 15"...still using the 12x12x12? OR Should i change to 15x15x15?help me pls...can u calculate the length of my box for two 15" t1 rockford..please...i need help...i want better spl...

  6. 1. What is it going into (make model year) 2. What do you have for an alt. 3.
