Saw it on the prize table at our church I bought 25 tickets lol. I have some loud bass already from a 12" MTX but I'm wondering what I can do to make this sound better than it does, anyone ever "mod" one?
I have the X-530..I was considering taking everything out of the sub box, buying two 15" 8 ohm subs for $20 and running them in a 1cf sealed box at 8RMS to each.

okay, I just ordered a few things.... 8800GT (the new one which is better then the 8800GTS) Vista Ultimate 64-bit, a Logitech G25 steering wheel, Logitech G51 speakers, new motherboard, new CPU cooler, and a few extras... lets see how it runs soon enough, aye?

And again, you must not have drivin an SS because they handle like they are on rails without any body roll at all, they just don't oversteer like s2ks and drift out the ass end lol.
that's part of the fun...... I havn't been able to not control the back end though....

X2 I love the looks of the s2k but I drove my friends lil ss cobalt (faster than my stang too) and waxed the ass of an s2k on the interstate, once he squated and took off, I crammed it down in 3rd, dumped the clutch and boosted the hell out of it, leaving the honda sad and in the rearview lol. But nice car though.
Bah, S2000's aren't meant for the straight lines man... they strive for the coners

which until someone chimes in i dont think anyone sells them at their audio shop yet

my local shop thinks diamond audio is the best (they sound good) and that to stabalize your electrical system just keep on adding batteries.... so the last car he did was a 03 impala with 2 12" hifonics olympus each powered by bxi2006d, with two kinetik2400.... with stock headunit and stock alt.... then they "metered" it on AC and hit a "150," and now think its the loudest thing in town.....
and my personal opinion on how it sounded....
my 2 12" Re se's on a Re 12.1 with stock alt, spv35 and 1 run of 4 gauge drowned it out
they have no idea what the big 3 is, nor how to use a dmm to set gains or why you would just to at least check your voltage/amperage/watts
and to top it off, the owner thinks AC is more accurate than TL......

Kind of alot of money to just prove a point If you where going to get one any way then cool but dont get one just to show some one up ha ha ha All my local stereo shops have never heard of any of the good brands because they dont sell them ! So fuck em
it just pisses me off how someone with 32 7" LCD's in a riced out caviler can justify saying anything is crap just because they never heard of it

I mentioned Fi car audio at my local audio shop to one of the guys who works there and he and I know each other decently..... but I told him that Fi was a better company when it comes to subwoofers. he said bullshit. I'm kinda pissed because I mean. he hasn't heard any Fi subs in person and he dissed my Assassins without hearing them. I'm seriously considering getting $800 and getting a Fi BTL 18" woofer and a BXi 2607D amp JUST to show this guy what's up......
