  1. ..why? Chrome only looks good when tastefully done. But usually it looks like the person went to autozone and threw stick-on chrome all over their vehicle, and that makes the car look cheap. Maybe chrome on the pillars may look good but anymore than that will likely look overdone.

the car was bought from ford, crome panel rockers, pillars. The car was chromed out when i bought. The passenger side rocker came off. so im going to just replace the rockers on both sides. Lincolns look awesome chromed out

  2. I think db drives wire is nice, Never heard anyone complain about it

local shop got dblink for 80 bucks. 2k. will that be good to run with the crescendo bc/2000

He recommended DB Drive, not DB Link. From my findings the DB Link is small wire in a large jacket, no good.

Touche. DB Drive is decent, not DB Link

OK COOL. GONNA CHECK THE DB DRIVE, THEN IF I DONT LIKE IT GONNA GET THE KOLLOSUS

  3. for that price range, i say definitely check out the knukonceptz kits, they have some of the biggest wire i have ever used, even have to trim the 1/0 a bit to get it to fit into 1/0 fittings. that being said, i've always been a huge fan and user of kicker 1/0, just my preference tho and you can get 20' rolls of it on sonic electronix for eighty bucks

cool gonna get the kollosus dual kit from knukno

  4. lolz... this exactly how my windshield sound

You're hearing the glass vibrating against other pieces in the car. When metal flexes you can hear the sound, but what does glass sound like...crunch crunch?

the ole veteran was right on the money just a tad off... after using the oscope.. Some of these guys been in the game a long time and have some good ears..lolz i actually could se the windshield flex bruh

  5. You can't hear the windshield, lol. Bass boost, easiest way to explain it is to NOT USE IT. Make sure you get your gains set correctly. Then I would double check your wiring to ensure a 1 ohm load nominal. And if its still not loud, double check your wiring. And if you're sure you did it all correctly, look to your enclosure. Maybe its not as awesome as you think.

I can hear the windshield flex LOL

  6. How did they set your gains? Did they adjust by ear, set to half and leave it, use a dmm, or did they use a o-scope. After some reading on here for a while, using a o-scope really is teh only real way to set the gains properly. First you need to see at what volume the h/u is clipping ( dirty signal ) at, the set the amplifer gains after that. This really is the only accurate way. Ive gone to shops here local to me and talked to them about amp gains and settings and some of them do it there own way, which is usally by ear.

by ear... he been doing it 15 years.. someone referred me to him.. Bass is so smooth and clean
