Chrysler 300
I was probably gonna pick this anyways since its such a bad ass car all around...
-
Can't choose what car I want to buy....
1995-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT (can become really fast and decent amount of trunk space)
2005+ Chrysler 300c (tons of trunk space and 4 door)
keep my Alero and put 7-20 thousand dollars into it.
I wouldn't buy the car anytime soon... probably by next summer.

Im guessing you meant to put 12" btl. The box seems like prefab. Don't buy because the tuning is usually extremely high and it's really small. After sub displacement, it'll be too small
no he meant 15 the % thing is a five... not to mention the box description says sing 15" sub enclosure.
And man i wouldn't buy a pre-built box. Chances are that box is tuned really high. Fi recommends at least 3 cuft for a BTL 15 anyway and that box is only 1.75.
idk y i put a % tbh but yea... i meant 15" lol. so I should get a custom box built?
Whatever it is, why buy a BTL and put it in a POS box.
cuz im poor now?
-
so im getting 1 1%" Fi BTL down the road and was wondering if this box would be good enough.
* Single 15" ported/vented subwoofer enclosure
* Dimensions in inches: 21" Width x 15.75" Height x 16.5" Top depth x 16.5" Bottom Depth
* Volume per sub: 1.75 cubic feet
* Machine precision cut mounting holes
* 3/4" heavy Dusty Construction
* Multi layers of high-grade glue ensure long life and no air leaking out
* High quality spring loaded terminals
* Dado end panels
* Mounting Depth: up to 16.5" (enough depth for any sub on the market)
* Designed, tested, and engineered to work with most of today’s popular woofers. These enclosures are built with the quality additives needed to maximize the performance of any sound system.

I'd look around more for bigger ones. Have you tried DC Power, Iraggi, and Mechman?
ive tried DC and Iraggi
-
I'm pretty sure tylertron just installed a 320 amp alt from iraggi in his alero...
if the 04+ fits onto my 01 alero then i ahve a 300a alt but if not highest ive found was 200a
replace the stock battery... mixing batterys are not a good idea... if you do your kinetics will average out with the stock battery voltage...
id grab another 1800 and put it up front...
so 3 1800 and a big three upgrade?
-
if your alternator can handle 2 batteries, get 2 batteries. Normally a few runs of 1/0 from the front to the back does the trick, but with a set up like that I would look into high output alternators before anything else.
how big of an alternator? cuz ive been looking and the biggest ive found for my car is a 205a alternator
-
how would I go about adding in 2 new Kinetic KHC1800 batteries to power my 2 15" Fi BTLs powered by 2 Alpine MRP-M2000 amps.
First, can I just run wires from my stock battery to my kinetic batteries in my trunk? or should I replace the stock one with a Kinetic KHC800.
-
you should post this in the fiberglass section.
lol i didn't even know there was a fiberglass section
-
where do I find someone to make me a custom door panel?
-
they got rebuild kits for your current alt on ebay. they say 200amp but do like 180 and cost around a bill
so just buy the 200a? my stock one is 105a
-
Understandable, whats your budget for just batteries? Im sure one of us in here can help you find something in your price range.
i have a 2001 alero gx coupe 3.4l if you could find me the alternator(s) i need it'll make me very happy. LOL
-
I got some optima yellowtops ill let go for cheap, their group 31's
sry but i wanna buy everything brand new
-
4000rms? deff. upgrade your alt, big 3, like 2 runs of 0 gauge and batts.
any suggestions on alternator and batteries?
-
well i was wondering i am going to buy 2 alpine mrp-m2000 amps and 2 15" fi btl subs... and do i need a new battery with this? or will my stock battery be good enough.
-
ok so im planning on getting 2 15" fi btls and a rockford fosgate t2500-1bdCP amp what kind of alternator should i get and how many and what kind of batteries should i get
-
there are alot of good things you can do but if a thief wants your shit they will get it! but the more you do to protect it the better for sure!
thing is i live in a town of less then 3000 so ill find out who took the shit here in a few days prolly. so cops r the least of their worries
-
yeah, you would be supprised at how many people do that though. thats why most insurance companies dont cover a/v stuff unless you have all the documents and recipts of the stuff then you have to pay more to keep it covered.
when i graduate and get my own house ima have some rilly good security inside and outside of my house and in all of my vehicles ima have so this shit can't happen again
-
and that wasnt enough for them? fuckin cops!!! its probably not even worth an insurance claim if you cant get it all covered.
nope, they think i "stole" my own stuff, and i didnt have any pictures of the stuff in my car
-
no damage to your ride or anything?
drivers side window gone
-
damn i hate that!!!!!
worst part is... the cops won't do anything about it... cuz i guess i don't have proof they were stolen? and not just sold...
-
oh, good deal.
I had 2 12" Kicker L5s, a 2005 Alpine MRD-M1005 amp, and a Alpine CDA-117 CD player. But they were stolen out of my car about a week ago.
-
not always, they run along one side of the car under the carpet. but under is an option as 1/0 can sometimes be a pain in some applications. but you want to run it so that it cant get cut or pinched and end up grounding out on the chasis. but the rca's and remote wire can easily be run inside under the carpet.
o.. ive already had subs in my car... I have rcas remote and amp power wires running in my car and I have a ground
help me decide
