  1. hey, thats what were here for. For wire make sure to use 1/0 gauge and get enough the do the big three( roughly 8-10ft.) and enough to run from the front battery to the back battery (roughly 18-20ft.). Run that positive to positive on the batts. and you can ground the back battery to the from just make sure its grounded in a good spot(roughly 2ft) for that. Then get some wire to run from the back battery to your amps pos. and neg.. Wherever you get the wire always be sure to get a little extra just in case you mess some up, its always better to have extra than not enough.

Be sure to post up any more questions you have so you can do everything right the first time.

where exactly do i run all these wires through? drill a hole in the trunk and go under the car? or what

  2. If your looking at that Alpine 2000 for subs, I'd look into two FI Bl's, DC level fours, Sundown SA-12's. There are other brands out there but all three of those listed have proven themselves. For an extra battery I'd look into Powermaster or kinetik. Wiring wise would be Knukonceptz wire or some Stinger from Darvex. Sonicelectronix has that Alpine 200 for 419.00 plus shipping.

hey thnx u just saved me almost $900 lol

EDIT: to bad they're out of stock/backordered

  3. yes an alt would also be a good idea but you could do it a little at a time do one of the amps on the twelves run the 1/0 big three a second battery then save up buy the second amp another battery and the alt

k well do u know any good sites to buy from? Ima buy the subs from ficaraudio.com.... the amps from crutchfield.com for $700 a piece, and the Alpine CDA-117 head unit for $350 from crutchfield.com. if u knwo anywhere i can get it for cheaper just post the link

  4. I need help finding a system I should put in my 2000 Oldsmobile Alero Coupe.

I'd like everything to fit in my trunk even though it is a small trunk.

My trunk is only 35 in. long, 26 in. wide, and 19.5 in. tall. I can screw the amp to the back of one of my seats since it folds down to save some space.

I would like to have a system I can cruise around and listen to for under... lets say 2 grand. That's including head unit, subs, box materials, amp, batteries if needed (most likely not), and anything else ill need.
