Hey guys just got my tpi 440 oscope today and started to Set the gain on my arc audio 4000se amp. So first I took the speaker wire out and connected my oscope leads in set the volume right and played a 50hz 0dB tone, set the gain before clipping my oscope was matching my amp clipping light so everything seemed perfect. Hooked my speaker wires and played some songs it was way lower then before so I turn the gain up to my liking and the clipping light on my amp was good. So my question is, is it better to set gain with oscope with the speakers conneted or did I do something wrong. Appreciate any advice

All my ground is going strait to the battery neg. I'm going to try grounding my HU and start my way back I quest. Thanks for the repy

ground loop or gain mismatched would the noise still be there with the volume all the down

Hey guys I have this hum/hiss noise coming out of my components even with the volume is all the way down does anybody have an idea where this is coming from, any help will be appreciated.

so ray how far apart are xl and mlk are they night and day difference

i have the focal krx2 and krx3 had them for few months now not to happy with them there are a bit harsh on the tweeter side,tweeter adjustment is on -6 and eq from 1k up is also down still not liking it. thinking about hertz because everybody is talking about them. so do you guys think the hsk 165xl will sound better then focal krx. thanks just joined today.
