  1. pretty much impossible to tell you which would be louder ALL on different power for the local stuff (which i dont recommend since you will get ripped off).

i would go with the level 4's on 2000rms but idk how you plan on building up your electrical with a new alternator, big 3, new battery in the trunk and under the hood.

what kind of car are we talking about here?

chevy avalanche AND PEOPLE I WANT TO KNOW WHICH ONE YOU WOULP PICK LOCALLY FIRST AND THEN TELL ME NONE LOCAL

  2. Ok so heres the deal I have a couple choices of woofers I need help with. I want it to get very loud but yet still have some sq. Every box for each of the woofers will be ported. My choices are 3 alpine 15 type r woofers having around 830 rms. Or 2 power bass 15 3xls each having 1000rms. Or 2 jl 13w6v2 each on an hd 750. Or mtx 8500 squar subs on the recomended rms. Please tell me why one of these setups is better first before you answer the next ?

Now if I went none local I could choose from two 15 rockford t1s on recomended rms. Or two maby three 15 Ascendantaudio havocs on the recomended rms. Or two 15 Fi q on the recomended rms. Or two 15 dc level 4 on the recomended rms. Or two 15 sx re audio on the recomended rms. Or two 15 treo ssp with the recomended rms. Remember I want it to be louuuuud but yet have some sq. I mean I want people to hear me coming down the block. I know a guy who had two power bass 15 3xls and that shit pounded I herd him from a good distance and I was in my car. The same guy had six ten powerbass and I was in his car that time and it hit damn hard to the ear. I would like to be able to do a small hair trick if possible, not a big deal though. Please tell me why one of these woofers is better.

  3. I'd hit you with a JL sub if I could.

"Does it hit very hard??" If I had a penny for every time I've seen that on here in regards to a woofer.. I'd have enough to buy Steve's truck. And then some.

It's all in the box. You could have a shitty box for a W7 12 and a great box for a walmart Dual 12 and the dual would probably out perfrom the JL.

PM Forum Asshole about designs. He'll make you one.. for a few bucks

Im getting a great box made and ported

  4. im a AudioNoob so this comment is based from my experience in the research ive done trying to begin my first car build

well i think everyone can say those are all respected brands, i would suggest comparing the t/s parameters of the subs, see how they compare and for what price gets you what kind of power, also as someone already stated some subs are capable of more power than is rated so for that of course you would need to hope someone with experience with those subs will comment

i know rockford fosgate is good brand, but i would lean more towards the others, either Fi or treo, ive never seen the nightshades so i couldn't comment on those, AA is nice too or else steve wouldnt have gotten his own line, although i think they were specially made so they may not be anything like the other lines of AA except for brand

not sure the price on the treos, but i know FIs have some nice power for reasonable price id think, also i suppose it depends on what you plan to hook them up to, how compatible they may be to the amp/s you plan to use and if you want room to upgrade or use these subs with as much potential as you can grab from them

it what ever the subs requir is the power i will put to them

  5. Well the ssx and the havoc handle way more power than the t2 and the bl. I would say compare the btl to the ssx and havoc. The nightshade is s good choice too. The only sub i have heard out of those is an 18 ssx and it sounded good. Maybe look into dc audio too. They really are all good choices though so budget is really what it comes down too

alright i will look into that
