Nice build man! Love to see Impala's can't see how I missed not having seen this build sooner.
-
Ah, ok well thanks for confirming that
They had to of been anyways

You can see through the spider on the level 2 as it only has a single spider and I believe the level 3 has two...the lvl two is still a good sub though, very impressive for the price
Do you think I have level 2's or is this a new thing? Last time I remember I could only see one spider on my "level 3's" hmmm or I may be wrong as it's been a while but that's how I remember seeing it. I bought both used :/
But when I do get a chance to take em out, I'll check the magnets like Rusty said.

cant stop watching it and laughing

I've heard 2 MA 12"s sealed in a single cab on that power ~600 each and it's okay but no hairtricks there. It's loud but pressure/air movement wise, it didn't have much.
Edit: and well on the same amp and wiring I'd cut up he truck for a blowthrough and test a lot to see what works best.
-
I don't really follow what your getting at, but i think what you mean to ask isn't easy to accomplish if possible at least not at the same frequency and with less power.
-
I can do a small hair trick and seriously don't know how, but only works with that low note in white girl and my boxed is tuned to 32Hz
To your question though, it makes sense that it would help a lot to have a looser suspension as it'll displace air more easily. But I don't know that for a fact.

is there a way i can hook my ps2 up to my laptop via there ethernet ports. i searched on google but i was unsure how to word it and didnt find anything.
I have done it before and it works. Played Midnight Club a looong time ago like that on there a few times through the laptop's Ethernet port to the ps2's, but I honestly do not remember how I did it. Use Google, it's your best bet to find anything and keep trying.
Edit: Works for the ps3 also haha, had to figure out a way to get it online since I couldn't regularly with the way the universities internet was configured/protected/setup.
Edit2: Okay wow... re-read the original post... you do mean to use the internet connection right? If so that does work as I stated, for any other means of connectivity, no.

I have a massive audio N4 amp and wasn't sure which I should get between the lvl 4 and the xl. I know that the xl peak wattage of two subs is greater than my amps but I wasn't sure if that really mattered. I want two 15's of either one. Which one should I go with? and yes I am upgrading the electrical I have a 250 amp alt and a KHC2000.
If I had to make that decision again, I'd get the XL. It should do fairly well with the power you're giving it, it has more motor force, and if you decide to upgrade power, you can do that.
I've not yet heard a good reason to get the 4 over the XL.
I'm not sure but I think he means to get two of them, so still a good idea? Although, like you said he can always upgrade power, which who knows if he will.
-
This is what you have right? So some level 4's would be good, or even level 3's with which you'd have some power to spare.
-
most of it, lol
try side firing with port along rear of trunk, was loudest in my car
alright then, i'll try some of your music and if they are able to move hair again i'll try and get better lighting/angle and make new vids
right now, or soon, i dont think i'll be able to experiment making other boxes. i'm pretty happy with this one for the time being. i do want to try 4th order bandass sometime though.
-
holy port batman
impressive
i've heard those first three words before dont remember from who though, thanks!
and i'm hoping it only gets better once i seal off and deaden, all the works. not the spl/db type of person, just want it to play low and move a lot of air
i need to try some of your music on it, do you know any of yours that play that same low note as in white girl?

Very nice. Looks good!! If it sounds that good over my crap computer speakers, It must be a beast in person. Can't wait to get my DC level 3!!!
really, sounds good? lol okay, but i know the mic distorts bass a lot and doesnt really make it sound like it does in person. but yea it is beast!
-
Nice vid's man. Those DC's are gettin down. What size box did you put them in?
Thanks! These are dimensions and all that extra info. oh and it's two 45's not like in the pics. I just wanted to see what each would look like
-
do you have a buildlog or just videos.
I have a build log but I never really updated it, only had pics up to when I finished my first box with only one sub. I'll go find it and update, I have pics just never posted them.
-
Damn you got them DC's doin work!
Thanks, and I'm getting what I can out of them!
-
There it is! This is both front doors and trunk open. If I work on it by sealing off from the trunk and deadening some of the car it should do better right? Also excuse the poor lighting.
And here is a previous daytime video I though I had posted up but couldn't find the thread.
Thanks for watching

Is this wire really good? I'm gonna be needing some and if this is good I'll be sure to buy. Anyone know the amperage the wire can handle? I've checked in a few places with no luck.

Nice setup and vid, love seeing impalas! But wow you're on double power and less cone area than me! Looks awesome!
I've got a stupid weak electrical though
