all the ones connected to the amps are fine. i dont know about behind the radio yet i didnt pull it and check those yet but they should be fine i done see how they would get damaged i dont drive crazy or nothing

ill try turning them down a lil bit see if it helps but i mean i havent touched my gains in like a year why would it start all of a sudden?

yeah i got 3 sets of rca's on the drivers side and the 0 gauge power to my back battery on the passenger side. i got a JL 300/4 on my highs now. it kinda sounds like a radio station thats not getting a full signal or something.

yesterday a fuzzy/static like noise started coming from my speakers and i unplugged rca's and messed with grounds and it never stopped it. its not really loud it can only be heard at low levels so i just turn it up lol but i would like for it to be fixed. its not a normal engine noise like the supercharger buzz its different. anyone ever experience this or know how to stop it?

ill keep that in mind but i kinda wanted it asap so ima check out walmart first

will a general fabric store or wal mart or something carry carpet like they use on speaker boxes?

at a sound shop called new orleans sounds in gretna la. and to answer your other question the L7 ported will need 3cuft min each so if you do 2 thats 6cuft not counting port and sub displacement

i took one video with my cell phone before i tweaked the amp but it looks like crap and i hear the 1000/1 can put out around 1200rms but either way i wanna get another amp but for right now its what i had and it works for now.

everything is enabled and i tried other skins and i dont know what happened but it showed what the real page looks like but it freezes up on me if i click on any forum topic. i think it might be my browser. im running just internet explorer and i noticed at the top of the page it saya best with firefox or google. im gonna go try to download one but i have like 1gb of memory left in my laptop lol i need a new one ASAP. i guess 4000 songs in my iTunes is taking up some space lol

i just sold my kicker L7 15" to buy a Level 4XL 15" and its in the trunk of my 2008 impala in a 4cuft box port tuned around 30Hz running off my JL 1000/1 and i could not be happier. this thing is awesome!! if you get the kicker you will be missing out cause while my kicker hit hard it just couldnt take power as good as the DC and wasnt close to sounding as clean and tight as the DC. DC FTW!!!

i cant get enough of it lol. by far the best sounding sub i have EVER had and i have had quite a few different subs from my first sony 12's from circuit city to audiobahn 15's then 12's and different audiobahn 12's in a bandpass, then orion 10, mtx 12's, jl W7 10, 2 jl W3 10's, jl W7 13.5, 2 memphis 15's and kicker L7 15. it is so clear and strong i love it!! im looking for reasons to go ride around haha. i will never own another brand other than DC. april 24th they having a crank it up around here so ima go and see what kind of numbers its putting up just to see. with it tuned around 30Hz i dont think it will be super high but im hoping at least 140's. my 2 audiobahn 15's did 141.9db, my 2 audiobahn 12's did 140.2db and my JL W7 10 did 136.2db and that was all with the box the company suggests you build so ill see

i forgot my friend used my amp tp see how a 1000/1 would push his sub and when he did he changed all the settings and when my cousin came over today we tweaked it so now its really beating. my trunk is bout to jump off and my back bumper is bout to fall off and my poor sunroof lol

when im on my cell phone the website looks different from when im on my computer. on my phone i can see avitars and sigs and shit but on my computer all i see is the text and pics people post. is there like a setting i dont have set right or something??

we should be able to finish glassing the seams on the front of the box today so im hoping to have it in tomorrow and finally hear it. i can wait! i just hope it wil be louder than the kicker L7 i sold to get it lol
