I think I might have to plug my ears to even stand near the door, someday when kids are grown.....or I hit the lottery I'm 100% going to have to put a system like this in, especially here in bennington vermont..I dont think anyone here or within 100 miles has a system even close to yours.

Thanks , Depending on what time Fed Ex comes tomorrow I will be hooking up my subs, amp , equalizer and replacing all my door speakers.
eventually gonna take a stab at making some fiberglass panels for the doors.

Well Ive posted the box i've made for my truck before. but now its totally finished just waiting on arrival of my Subs and amp and amp kit from audio savings I ordered today. They should be here on 10/21 if they get shipped out tomorrow on time. also ordered new door speakers and tweeters.

Didn't like how the box looked 100% fleck stone paint in the truck, so I took it out and carpeted it with some cheap carpet from Wal-Mart. Looks a Little better.

Damn rain I wanted to set my box in my truck to see how it looked with the fleck stone paint with my interior. I'm sure it will look fine though my interior is gray.

Looks nice for just scrap wood. and for $14 I don't think that could be beat. What 10s are going in there?

looks good for a first box that cost 14 bucks. how does it sound?
I'm ordering my subs and amp next week from audio savings. will post on how it sounds and other pics.

Made from scrap pieces of wood I snagged from work and some construction adhesive and some screws. cost a whopping 14 $ to build including the paint.
fits perfect in my truck under the bench seat in back. for small enclosure 10's.

Thanks for the responses! We will see what I can do when I pick up my truck Monday. I will take some measurements down and see what subs I actually end up grabbing before I build it. want to make sure the volume of the box is suitable for whatever I get. My budget isn't huge and , I am not necessarily going for humongous bass right off. I just cant stand not having any sort of bump at all... Again thanks for posts. I will cruise the forums and see if I can pick up some ideas.

Hello, I am getting a 2k6 Silverado ext cab. Would like to put a decent sound system in , but I don't want to ruin the capability of seating 6 ppl since my family is going to consist of 6 ppl soon... I know they make an under seat box, and I like that idea. Has anyone had one of these boxes in a ext cab truck and how does one sound. or is there a better way to utilize the space underneath the rear seats?

oh how I love fed ex.......... wish they could give you an estimated shipping time like most other shippers. Been waiting here all day because they wont drop my package off without a signature... if they couldve said hey between 10-2 great. couldve went to work for a couple hours they gone back after but nooo, the lady said we cant guarantee a time we will be there but we deliver packages between whenever they start and 5 pm est. well 3 hrs to go,watch them not show up..then i will have to co ck punch them =)
