-
try some old pc fans and try keepen the amp cool or check the voltage when ya bumpen to make sure its not going uneder 12volts. what gauge of wire you usen
-
bet its clippen or to small of box for what the amp is tuned to. i had to reset my cross over and subsonic filter when it happened to me
-
it might depending on what kind of car ya have. in a prefabed slot port box tuned to 45hz in a jeep grand cherokee i'm hitting 144 at 35hz. but i need a better box and more voltage
-
the bb2 12d are rated at 1200 rms each i have 2 of them and in prefabed box and ina jeep they move the air cant wait til i get my new box tuned at 31 hz
-

i'd say audio pipe
-
thats just what i read about them. i dont own one yet. my eclipse does 550 watts x2 at 4 ohms with 12 volts yet only rated as a 500 watt amp
-
ap is audiopipe from what i heard they are underated. i'd give up my old school eclipse for one of those amps well the 3000 watt one lol
-
mines not to bad just recently replaced the orginal starter and last year the water pump. only things that suck is it needs repainted wont hit 14 volts yet and and the lil storage thing on the ceiling rattles to much lol. but i tried to find that home made mla and cant find it
-
if it saves my subs i'll live with it til my box is done
-
my new box is in the works just needed somethen to get me by. so where should i set the cross over and sonic filter for this box
-
so should i search for home made mla to find it?
-
so is there a way to bypass the ecu voltage regulator on a 96 jeep cherokee. right now i'm sitten at 13.6 and wanting to get to 14.5 i know mla works but dont have 200 bucks right now
-
right now i have a prefab ported box and tuned to 45hz. but i have the cross over on amp set low like 40hz and the subsonic set low
-
ok i'll start filtering. i just got to the point to where it was moven some air to lol.
-
90% of my music is from the tunez forum. so how can i check the quality?
-
well i turned the gain down more and when i did that i saw the phase shift was sitten on 180 and i flipped it back to 0. could that been part of the prob.? if i turn the gain down any more i will have no beat from the subs.
-
sounds like your either overpowering them or clipping them....or both. so.....dont do that.
hmm i'll check that . the subs are rated at 1200rms and i'm putten maybe 800 each. i'll turn the gain down again but its hardly up. no bass boost. i have the bass on the deck at 3. out of 10

Same as usual bro living just one day at a time. How about you?

-
Hot=bad. That heat is the coil getting hot. If it gets warm enough the coil will blow
so what causes that and how can i cool them off
-
