only reason i'm redoing it is the shop here sold me a sound quest kit and that stuff aint worth a damn
-
the local napa carries copper ring style lugs up to 4/0 and like i said its from battery up to my rear battery. but would it be over kill to do the big 3 in 3/0 lol
-
redoing the wire between my 2 batteries. which would give the best flow. and yes i'm going to use welding cable because my local audio shop wants $6 a foot for 1/0 and i can get 3/0 welding cable for 3.50 a foot. and 2/0 for 3.00 a foot and 1/0 for 2.75 a foot. and all rated to do a full 300 amps up to 100 feet
-
so which is better the epicenter or the bx 10
-
-
i'm going to a local welding shop and getting 2/0 welding cable. it holds 300 amps up to 100 feet. its ugly but it will let the power flow
-
well since your jeep is basicly same as mine just do the big 3 in 1/0 get a 130 amp alt from a 97 and xtra battery under the passenger side cushion run 4 from there that 8 gauge to thin for that amp
-
i have the amp all hooked up now and tried a 4 ohm load and whats a 1 ohm load dont notice the difference in sound or power
-
thanx for the myspace layout
-
me to and if ya can for facebook
-
nothen on the amp or deck is maxxed out . i do turn the knob bout half way when i see a hot chick walk by lol just a lil burp nothen long term
-
thanx p i have my kiddo with me most of the time and my box isnt tuned low hell even my remote i only turn it up bout 1/8 of a turn w/ out mt daughter in my ride. and the volume on my deck never gets past 22 thats where it sounds best to me
-
then why have a bass boost?
-
if a amp comes with a bass remote where would a good setting for the gain and bass boost be. not wanting to fight just want opinions. i heard few different stories. right now i have my gain at a 1/4 and my boost bout 1/8 which o my amp is just of the 0db point

i'm asking how companies come up with the power rating at 1 ohm know it all
-
some brand my local shop wanted me to try a nesa 4000d i never heard of the brand. i do know now they make monitors and what not. and they are promoted threw the kicker reps
-
so how do i figure out the true power of my amp at one ohm? so far i figured it does 1728 @ 4 ohms by doing the volts times amp but how do i figure out what the out put is at 1ohm?
-

i'm using peel n seal on the liftgate on my jeep and i dont have any funky smell. but mines the rubber based stuff not the tar based
-
its 1700 at four ohms 2200 or so at two ohms and 4000 at one ohm. but i'm not sure if its clean watts or iffy watts. all i know its a new line and i was told it was sister amp of kickers
-
reason i'm asking is it says they are 600watts rms are the rated that just as a conservative rms and can hold more or that the max
-
so what is the most power i could put to a sa-12? i just picked up nesa 4000 watt amp that suppost to be a sister company of kicker. so at comps could i burp the sups w/ out hurting them. i'm in the market for new subs and been looking at the sa 12 because of the price

uuhhh....DC is no where near mainstream yet..they are popular on this site...and in some competition, but to the rest of the world, they most likely still havent heard of them.
and just by looking at them, I wouldnt trust digital audio or chronic...but I have no first hand experience with either of them
just hope they arent to pricey. but i need dual 4 ohms that will hold up to the amp. i mean daily it will be runnning 1000 to 1500 but when i compete i wanna use it full tilt
1/0 2/0 or 3/0 welding wire
