i also put accel wires and coil with my E3's. it helpe with my mpg. power wise it helped a lil but i also have the all wheel drive version so i dont notice a huge power increase

Put your jeep on a diet and loose some excess weight, port and polish, magnum m1 intake, holley high flow throttle body and get a good set of headers. Don't waste your time on a throttle body body spacer, tuner or ignition. You can get a good set of plugs, wires and coil but their really not gonna do that much. Don't run E3'S either.
why not run E3's i been running them in my jeep for 3 yrs now now problem and my mpg improved when i put them in

theres a programmer you can buy for like 300. use all synthetic oils. try E3 spark plugs and accel wires and coil. thats what i did with my 96 with a 5.2 and still manage 20-22 mpg

i never clamped mine. but the company thats redoing my other amp said the big bangs are a reliable amp and do rated if you keep the voltage up. i have a adjustable voltage reg on my ride so the amp sees a constant 14.4 to 14.6 volts

i dont know if the nano can do it but i know the planet audio will take .5 ohms. only thing i hate bout it is the cheap ass mounting tabs. so i made my own for it. you will need at least 2 xtra batteries but it will take the abuse. i beat on mine everyday all day and hasnt ever gone into protect. i keep it as my back up amp.

Look at the video in our other thread, you can do the same thing in your Jeep that we did in our TJ.
Charging @ 16.5 is just fine with the correct batteries. 16v batteries require an 18.5-19.5v charging that is too high, it will blow bulbs and such, but the 16.5-8v charging of the 14v system works just fine. We run that in the Jeep, Silverado, Mustang, S-10 and countless customer vehicles with zero problems to date.
so i can get 14 v batts and use mt adjustable volt reg to bypass the ecu regulator and then save up for a mechman alt. now does the mechman regulator bypass the ecu regulator to?

i'm getten two more batteries for it soon. and hopen to run a 14 volt batt but i'll just stick with the regulator for now at comps

damn right now i bump the regulator up at comps just to keep the voltage up. havent tried keep it up full time

so is there a website that will let me know the max voltage my ride will take. the voltgauge goes to 16volts before its gets to the red zone. can i just go by that gauge safely

can any type of cloth be used when covering a box before you ad the resisen

its 7.5 cubes inside after displacement so its a good size box. so i could cover the sides front and back, not sure how the top will be unless i can brace it a lil from the inside

reason i asked is my tfs's are broke in an the box is flexen pretty good on the low notes and dont have the time to tear the box down brace it and rebuild it, but if i can slap sum 2x4's to help stiffen then
im gonna do it

i seen peeps line the out side of their boxes in 2x4's to help with box flex. if it works does the whole box need to be covered or just a few key spots?
