damn firefox was what my trojan was attached to in the thread below this one but i think i got it out so its all good now... finally

between the smitfraudfix, and atf cleaner I think it gor rid of the trojan, but the scan on the AVG picked up 32 objects (190 traces ) and everyone of those 32 objects was Trackingcookie. ( something )

well everything was going good until i tried to do a virus scan in safemode, my computer keeps shutting down on me .. here are the instructions i got.. i could finish it all up if the **** thing would just stay on for 30 minutes, but usually shuts down 5 minutes into the scan First, print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site. Please download, install and update AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5. DO NOT perform a scan yet. Print out the AVG Anti-Spyware Install-Scan Instructions. Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune & save it to your desktop. DO NOT use yet. Go here and follow the instructions for using SmitfraudFix. You will have to extract the zip file to you Desktop. (Click here for information on how to do this if not sure. Win 9x/2000 users click here. If you need an unzipping utility, download 7zip (its free). After using the tool as instructed, reboot again in "SAFE MODE" and double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program. * Under Main "Select Files to Delete" choose: Select All. * Click the Empty Selected button. * If you use Firefox browser click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All * Click the Empty Selected button. NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt. * If you use Opera browser click Opera at the top and choose: Select All * Click the Empty Selected button. NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt. Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program. Then scan with AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 per the instructions you printed out and reboot normally.

yea i just wanted to have some sort of av and net security , so i got the pccillin whichj is av wifi security and spyware, aparently it doesnt to any of it too well.. On the bitdefender scan i just did this was the problem MMediacodecpmsngr.exe and a few other .exe's

well with my selection it was either norton or pccillin.. i wanted kaspersky, avg or bitdefender..

Keeps coming up and i cant get rid of it.. Scanned av and spyware 2 times w pccillin and nothin > I expect accordman and some patience

Really..?? i read on a gaming site that 360 sales were down pretty big.. And isnt expected to do much better after the wii and ps3 release.. ill try n find it

Just curious, ive heard both but I dont think it will at least for another year or so just due to the 600-700 $$ tag on the ps3's , Im betting they'll both drop around the same time, any guesses

I sir believe you might be right.. its about 90% smooth on hard but theres a few spots where it gets a lil clustered, oh and to summerize the thread for ya, i pretty much just had a convo with a fery patient accordman :^ Cuz i was having quite a feww different problems

Well he made me Dl 3dmark06... i dont know what it is or why im downloading it but its a 580 MB file so it'll taje a few hours to figure it out i guess

It said something about divx <-- i believe and to make sureall drivers where updated etc,,, Whats the deal with that ? and as far as doom the joke .. i dont get it :-[ there must be something im doning wrong if my computer excedes every requirement in the game

SO what kind of card would i have needed to play doom on the ultra level ( or whatever it is ) 512 mb?

I just picked up Doom 3 just for a lil something to play on the computer, but i have a few questions... I have the graphics set on level 3 of 4 , and when i wanted to go to the highest level it said that it was like 500 mb and was not recommended.. and when i was playing the game it wasnt choppy it just wasnt super smooth when i would be looking in different directions quickly When i was downloading the game it said i might need to update my drivers or install divx, anything i can do to get the choppieness off and make it a lil smoother since according to the recommended requirements of the game i have much more than is needed core 2 duo 1.66 2GB ddr2 mem 160 GB hd nvidia 7600 256 MB graphics

No other class suggestions? .. networking maybe?? oh and i fixed my itunes problem but lost some songs in the process .. Deleted my itunes library then pasted my songs from my " My Music" folder but at least the ( ! ) is gone from about 120 song tho :V

I hear ya.. i meant a class where i could learn how to's repairs, learning a little more technical stuff that will help me in the long run without bein an idiot about it in the future.. again thanks for your patience :^
