    the audio control meters are usely more dbs than the TL though. there is a sensitivity type knobs on the meter its self for the ac meter maybe they wernt adjusted right, even thoe its calibrated dont mean the sensitivty is right. even steve said that the AC with the spl60 sensor is only 1 or 2 db off from the TL side by side.

    what sensor was they using was it a mic or sensor?

    i had a TL , but sold it, .. I used a buddies TL .. bout 6 months old, full y updated.. The ac .. I dont know what model.. Had a mic .. Looked like a nail set lol

    I saw a spl thread that made me remember this.. When i put my new setup in i scored myself a 145.3 on the TL .. And when i brought it to my local CA shop they brought out an ac ( dont know what model ) with the mic, so i held it about an inch off the glass passenger side ( same spot os the TL sensor.. And did a 136 ... Idk what the fuck is wrong with that mic but imo .. that s waaayyyy off

    That car would sound awesome with magnaflow.

    U just have a single pipe and muffler tho right ? my GA splits in the back after the main muffler ( on the drivers side ) then goes to an even smaller muffler on the passenger side.. Im think just fuck the tips , run new pipe in to the muffler... I just want it to sound like a lil fart car, ya know. Not like factory tips make that much of a sound difference

    Yeah its the 3.1

    perfect .. My grand am has been sitting for a few years through a couple long winters and it took a toll on my exhaust , and when i was driving it to town to get it up n running good again the exhaust rusted and fell off on the highway... so both grand am GT muffler tips.. gone .. and i cANT FIND THEM ANYWHERE.. Muffler rusted right in half.. so i think a lil new exhaust is in order...

    lol i kinda figured that. it was 230 for the muffer and installation. including having to add pipe because the original muffler was sideways.

    .. So it sounds pretty nice huh?? is that a malibu, 3.1 L?
