You could always use a washer.

I had heard a couple normal sounding systems but when I was wowed was when I saw my first wall, Beajay in a yellow cavalier with 4 IA Wardens

That's Ice JJ Cool Fish lmao

So I had ordered an I-Bar kit for my XS D2700, just to find out it doesn't fit lol.
Anyone have any ideas of what could work as a side post adapters? I know stinger and kinnetik make some but I'm not sure how much different the battery sizes are between brands.
Or any other ideas?

Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Literally just left. "This Home Depot lacks many stainless options so we usually refer period looking for stabiles to rte one in Columbia. ". I'll just go to another one tomorrow morning

My local Home Depot had normal black ones will that be a problem?
-
Anyone know the length and they compeltely threaded right
-
Yeah that was my next question if Home Depot sold them.

I lost my XS power bolts and washers for two batts.. Can I just use any 3/8th bolt? or does anyone know where I can get XS replacements from?
-
Ic, so doubling would be 10k..
well if I was you I'd go one of 3 ways.
1. Double power hope for decent voltage
2. Double power don't play full tilt unless competing or voltage is good.
3. Sell the amp you have and go for 7-8k instead.
I'll probably just stick with my amp for a while longer.
I had the same alt in my truck
2 bc5500's (.6 each)
6 3100's and it held voltage good but could still get it to drop if I wailed on it
A 2nd alt would be ideal
Thanks for the help boss!
It is highly probable that you can gain 3dB a lot faster spending time, effort, and money into optimizing the box and aggressively deadening than by trying to double the power with inadequate battery bank. It takes power to make power, don't think that beyond a 3 second burp you're really going to see much difference doubling up on amps, Particularly at that power level when you're fighting power compression in the subs and panels flexing, and especially if you don't have a lot more of a battery bank.
I'd even say that you'd likely see the same gain by getting even stronger electrical and running the amp you have at 18V (assuming your amp will run on 18)
Of course if you just want to do it for the sake of saying you have 10K of power, go for it, but have reasonable expectations.
I never said I wanted to gain anything lol. Just asked what would be recommended for 10k. Also that's the point of this thread to find an adequate battery bank pal.
^ its not like doubling power is a guarantee of a 3db increase. It a possible 3db increase but I wouldn't count on more then 1db just because there is no point in getting your hopes up.
sound deadening us a hit or miss on a meter to. Sometimes you can gain a little sometimes you can loose some.
Agree, I've seen a vehicle drop 3db on the meter from deadening the entire car.

What amps do you have now? Maybe start with doubling power.
I currently have a BC5500 lol. That's what brought about this question lmao.

I think the 270 and four D3100s would really be manageable, but like Chevy said more alternator would be nice. What's your budget, that's the best way to find a suitable option.
Maybe dual 270s and two D3100s
I have a Pontiac G6 Gt. Like I said I currently HAVE a DC270xp d3400 and 4 d3100's. I was curious about this because I really can't fit anymore batteries and want to stay in the trunk. So I was curious to see what I can get with what I got. I really doubt I can fit another 270 under the hood.
-
Ok so I currently have in my vehicle
1 DC Power 270xp
1 d3400 under the hood
4 d3100 in the trunk.
So in a perfect world I could possibly run 10k?
-
DC power alternator you mean?
Yeah lol editted typos.
-
If a DC Power 270xp is the largest alternator you can fit under the hood. D3400 Up front.
What would you recommend to run as a battery bank in the trunk for 10k rms?

Is there a noticeable difference between the 125.4 and the 100.4 Sundowns?
-
Any updates on the newer models?

I come out in this video cool lol.
