Hey all, have some questions about USACi SB3. I'm interested in competing in this class because the LA state record is a 145 and some change, IIRC. It seems like it would be the easiest to beat, and I would love to hold the record. Now I'm wondering, why would the record be so low? Is SB3 harder to put numbers up in as opposed to the other classes?
And also, what woofers would I be limited to? How many of said woofers would I be limited to as well? Ive looked through the rules multiple times, and cannot find a woofer limit.
Also, the entire build has to be under the window line and behind the B Pillar, correct?

state records are garbage.. classes are empty.. I could literally hold 12+ state records at once just for one org.. I got a buddy down there in LA doing 157s out of a trunk.. i could fart a 144 SB.. try to place at finals.. top 3.. thats worth talking about

i was going to ask if it would be better to just burp or slow roll, or fast roll etc...
Set it full tilt then pause it. When your ready to burp un-pause it. It will most likely take 3 seconds to blow the fuse if its going to do so. I saw a guy run a mmats not sure of model but it was a 4kwatt on a 60 amp fuse for 4 seconds before it blew.
Also tones are best for burps encase you didnt know that.
lol.. ive probably been competing longer then you.. i know that.. never run meca though so was thinking about squeezing down into mod 3 and trying it out.. did 154.7 @ headrest in lastweeks show in tulsa with no fuses.. going to try to throw a couple fuses on there

1 set of rcas to the amp.. 1 remote wire to amp..t hats all you need to power 1 amp.. and that amp can run an infinate amount of subs

roll your burps and imp rise will keep the amp out of protect. do you have the stock alt in still? if so, you do not have nearly enough electrical for .5ohm. definitely need to upgrade that 4awg to 1/0awg. i mean, why restrict current? 45* along every edge is not ideal. you want them in a way to shoot air out of the port, not just throw it around and keep it out of corners. some times 45*s hurt your score. and a 45* is not a brace.
droping a class is up to you. NEVER just say "it's ok, trust me". i cant tell you how many times i have said that, or seen some one say that and they were VERY wrong. so measure the port and tell us the dimensions. if you're right, you're right. if you are wrong, we can catch it.

and on a side note.. th elakers high scorer was kobe with 17.. the mavs BENCH had 3 guys with 22+... and the mavs bench tied the lakers TEAM with 86 points.. also the first time jackson has EVER been swept in a 7 game series....

theres a difference between elbows being thrown and and a blatant cheap shot when someone is completely exposed and in the air... when guys are battling down low going back and forth its on thing.. when a guy comes in the lane and gets blowed out cuz someone is pissy they got their ass ahanded to them and embarassed its a different thing.. you didnt have to mention you were a lakers fan.. this is one of the worst bush league plays i have seen since the fl st UNC game when hansborough got his nose broke

stitches do not hurt to remove.. i had them in my face 2 layers deep when i had my face cut open.. just feel a little tug and tickle almost.. does not hurt if the cut is healed and they are ready to be removed

@teamht check out onlincecarstereo.com the new t2 run around 500$ but im not sure about prices on dc or dd subs.. but have heard good things from all 3 brands. @sticky i just gotta get a good reliable battery first Haha I've been jumped alot from my battery draining quickly :/ but a good alt is a future investment for sure

I'm just saying that cause I like xs power obviously I put the lol at the end. And I know enough about my batts and I love them I got a xs d3400 up front and a d3100 in the trunk
ya the d3100 is the 3rd best 12v batt out there and handles tons of wattage.. but xs makes plenty of batts that dont handle alot and wont laste long depending on your application.. the 14 and 16v dont handle much at all but you sacrifice for the voltage so you got to run bigger banks.. but one on their own is damn near worthless imo

i know plenty.. d1400 is a 300$ batt that can only handle 1500 watts because of its low storage.. i got nathans number if you like you can call him up

this whole site nut hugs mechman , dc, and xs.. while xs is the best batt imo there alot better options out there if you dont want to drop 300 on a batt
