  1. Not all the are 400$ a sub most of them have a "budget" line of subs look at some sa 12s dc lvl 3 12s, fi ssd all great price with great output as shown50 said he has an audioque 1200d which would be perfect for some of the subs ive mentioned also can check out audioque subs but first scrap all the eqipment u have now. I sold 2 12" L7 (like new condition in original box) for 325$ on local craigslist

  2. i'd go with the 15's. cone area is significant, but i think 1000 watts of power difference would be a lot more significant.

plus i hear that 15's play a little deeper.

15" have nothing to do with playing "deep" 10s can get just as low as 15s in the right enclosure if u thats what u mean by "deep" i dont see 1000 watts making a difference if any at all

  3. Yeah no frustration then I won't get answer with arguing and yea they will be chocked at first but later with them in a blow trough wouldn't they be ok

no, not unless ur building a wall.

4 15s NEED ~12 cubes NET to work properly. in ur trunk u MIGHT be able to get ~6 or so cubes net...

dont try the "its a bunch of subs it has to be loud idea". go with a nice pair of XL 12s... :good: .

    /thread.

Thats the solution to your question you do not have the space in your trunk for the setup your thinking of, take the advice from guys that have been doing this for years.

  4. if i would get 6 12s my box would be 1.18ft and dc recommends 1ft so it should be a good match right?

its not hard to make a box its as simple as getting a design the designer do es everything but cut it out and glue and screw it together just bc you may fit it in there doesn't mean you should take some advice you may have had 2 subs before but I guarantee those 2 subs won't compare to 2 15" xls in a well designed box and you have the feeling of saying I built that box wow that's always a plus in doing it yourself

  5. Specs: American Bass website states "2600 rms at 1 ohm" although ive read some clamp tests were gets about 2k at 1 ohm and i would guess around 2300-2500 rms at .5 ohm it will run at .5 ohm daily it does come with bass knob also in great shape

Description/Condition: I would say a solid 9-10 maybe a 9.5-10 cosmetically its in great shape a little dirty and it works flawlessly

What I'm looking for: :looking for a AQ1200d+ cash on your end, rf t1500-1bd, maybe a t1000-1bd+cash on your end I'm in need of an amp for my dc level 3 15" i want something over 1k. Looking to trade only i don't want to sell straight out because i do need an amp just something a little smaller

  6. Ok so ive talked to dwright and got the price and got money in hand now but I want some opinions on a dc lvl 3 15" I'm upgrading to 5 stiff spiders how loud will these get it will be in a 3.5 cuft box tuned to 35 htz ran off a american bass 120.1 all in pontiac g6 trunk im going to swap out my soundstream splx 15" for this dc I did a 139db with the ss

Help asap plan on ordering today.

  7. did he say it was a quote, or an estimate? if it was a quote, i uld say they should honor it. not saying that to rip them off, but if i tell someone a price that ill sell them something, i sell it for that, even if its a mistake. Its kind of like calling up a person selling a car, and he tells you its $5000 over the phone. Then, you go to pick it up, and he wants $6000. You took the time snd effort to get the money snd go pick up the car, and then the price changes.... not too fair.

Personally, if i was the seller (DC) i would feel thst it was my error, and i hsve to take the punch in the gut, and accept the learning experience.

Lets be real, its probably only a 80-100 dollar loss, in terms of profit margins im guessing.

It could be worse, like if he quoted you 500.00 for a custom 6 alt setup or something crazy like that, lol

    :werd_msword:

You understand what I'm saying completely!!!

Yeah, I don't think he should be worrying about a 100 dollar loss, he should rather want to keep you as a customer

absolutely! A company you lose sometimes and when you caused the mistake its the right thing
