Cheap Stinger Red Volt Meter even Cheaper now 13.49 shipped for a limited time only.
-
i think that's a 1 ohm load... probably may be wrong though some one else might want to chime in.
-
What is the make/model/year/engine of your vehicle? Not all 105 amp alternators are created equal. For example, a large case Bosch 105 amp unit will blow away a Mitsubishi unit, especially at idle.
hadn't realized you had posted sir, at the moment his car consists of a 1998 Chevy Lumina 3.1L Engine but he is really indecisive and wants to get a another vehicle.

oh didn't really read that optima comment, all as well never been a fan of them, red tops and yellow tops are supposedly the best you can buy where I'm from lol i just nod and agree.
-
alright man thx, and if I'm ever in need of an H/O alt I'll hit up DC Power
ps. sad to see you guys off the forum and good luck on your future projects.
-
oops posted in the wrong thread sorry...
-
alright guess i can't avoid the H/O alt , unless what if instead of the stock batt upfront i got an XS D3400 in there, or is it to much strain on the alt????
-
Ok guys here's the thing i already asked this question over on CACO and scottiej helped me out but i guess I'm still in denial or just don't want to except it even if i get flamed on because i already got an answer from a very reputable guy I'm still gonna ask it , if i went with an XS D3100 in the back and stock Non-AGM battery in the front, 2 Runs(Pos/Neg) Of KNU OFC 1/0 front battery to back battery, Big 3 And Stock 105 Alternator would i have trouble keeping a decent voltage(low to mid 13's) for an AP 3K??? or do i just flat out need to start with a H/O Alternator?
-
glad to know you got your lug terminals, awaiting the vid bro.
-
port area now seems a bit big but idk im confused lol kranny might want to chime in, im not so confident with my knowledge on box building.
-
oops double post sorry.
-
yup and your going to be using 1 common port wall cause your width doesn't extend all the way to the walls on the sides.
