They work in my room if I hook them up to my surround sound thing. But that's nothin special
-
It shouldn't be 8 ohms everything I've read an seen says all the infinity stuff is 2 ohms, but that wouldn't cause a speaker to literally not move at all
-
Yes it had the infinity components, il look up what ohm they are.
-
-
Yes all the regular speakers even the ones with the tore surround still play. It's just I can't get anything at all from the new ones, all I did was direct swap the wires
-
My moms speakers blew in her Durango, I was replaceing the 6.5 separates with a coax cuz it's cheaper. But when I got everything hooked up the speaker wouldn't play. Not even mid bass
Any help appreciated

Hahahahahaha this is great, inflation, it's called air
-
Thanks! I'm leaning towards the bl actually!
-
Sorry to piss you off, but that's not what I was asking. I was just asking as in a general opinion which to buy
-
I wanna run an aq 1200d it's a trunk car and I'm gonna invert the sub and port the box. With a 15. Sorry if this is a repose thread
-
I'm doing a single sub setup, and was wondering which sounded better ?
-
If the spots were not that noticeable then why did you post. Obviously they are noticeable to you and you want them taken care of. So, do lots of googling on how to wetsand maybe watch a couple youtube videos. Its really not that difficult, you just need patience. As for the buffer, an orbital can be had cheap at most parts stores or even at walmart. A high speed (which I prefer) can be had relatively cheap at Harbor Freight.
Dont let the sound of it overwhelm you, it is not hard to do at all. Key is to work in small areas and take breaks. Patience Patience Patience
I can wet sand an polish but I would just need to buy a orbital buffer, the water spots are there but from about 5 ft away you can't tell, but I know there there an it drives me crazy
-
In a trunk car I would either seal from the trunk(sub/port front) or the traditional trunk set up sub/port back...
Ok thanks for the help, an I can't do subs an port forward because my ski shoot, or whatever you wanna calm it inbetween the seats is all sealed up. But thanks bro seriously
-
Sure, why not..
Type of sub/s, car?
a 15 level 4 and a ford five hundred, but I'm going to cut out the rear deck an bolt a price of mdf down an then wrap the mdf in some fabric, but should I do the sub up an port back? Or both sub and port backbor both sub and port sup? Just kinda confused about which would sound the best
-
No problem!
Would you wanna help me with a box design and which way to fire the sub and port?
-
Lol! Those are the best ways to get rid of em cause if the clearcoat gets messed up its time for a repaint(who would want that)! :/ but if they're not that noticeable, a good wax would conceal them a bit more...
System always comes first for a basshead tho!haha!
Exactly what i was thinking!!! Lol, thanks for the advice tho
-
Once you wetsand, you have to buff or the clearcoat won't shine...
All I could say is have fun buffing by hand!haha!
No, but seriously you'd be better off taking it to a pro and get it done right and not mess the paint up...
Haha well of it's that serious I guessbil just live with the spots lol, there barly noticeable, and any money I get is going towards my system!
-
I don't have a orbital buffer, but could I just sand lightly with 2000g after I wash it, then wash again?.
And could I polish the entire car to get it to shine? With some polish an a hand pad thing lol?
-
Alright even after I wash the car there are these water spots on the hood an a little on the trunk lid, how would j get them off? A clay bar? Or megires scratch remover? Any help appreciated
-
I like your idea, an I think it would be awesome if you could take out that back seat middle? If it comes out, an make a fiberglass box but you could just kinda make it a console for the back seats an fill up the seat area that you could take out. It wouldn't be hard, you just gotta be good with fiberglass
-
Wow, it's amazing, an I like your cat! I want one I those lanyard things lol, an of cource the sub too!
-
Alright man, so yea under 2000w I could just add a battary, I thought I was gonna need a new alt to, I think mine is 130 amps
-
With a stock alt? Alright, and I assume wiring up the battary is as easy as it seems. Do you mean add a second battary or replace the stock, I guess adding a second would always be better right?
-
Would I have to do big 3 an new battary? I'm not good with battary stuff but could you recommend one? I also wanna add prob another 400w of mids an highs
Speakers make no noise at all
