a 153 on an ac mic......grab a lab and see what ya do. I bet that 4 gauge gets pretty toasty. What are you fusing the 4 gauge with right now?
Two 100amp RF fuses the 4ga gets toasty, its actually only two Runs of RF 4ga, to Two hifonics Brutus 2608D's

fuses all the way. you can buy them from anywhere. i go to knukonceptz.com
will their Fuse Holders Work with 2/0 which i have Lugs to be Soldered on, so Bolt Connections will work (as i saw some fuse holders had) idk everyones sort of being a jackass, and thinks im basically retarded when it comes to car audio...
-
Doh.....
Get fuses, lots of em. Get someone else to install them as well. Cause if you don't know what you need, you prolly don't know where ya need em. Which means you prolly do not know how to set your gains, which means you are prolly clipping the shiat outta yer subs, which means you are gonna be back here in short order asking what happened to your system, which means I am gonna haveta bust yer balls again about doin something dumb again.
Please for the love of god, don't let yer wallet do the talking, please engage your brain, and get someone qualified involved.
Quote of the day - Some people are armed with just enough information to think they are capable, but in reality are gonna hurt themselves or someone else.
no i was just asking for some wisdom if ANYONE had dealt in Circuit Breakers before and knew if Breakers were good, i and i do know car audio even though my posts werent smart, i had a hard time thinking how to word it, and i guess i failed lol, whatever, but none the less, i know how to properly fuse a power wire set gains
if i didn't how the hell would i of hit a 153 on 4ga LOL
-
circuit breakerS are junk after a few times of tripping they get week and trip sooner. can cuase fires as well. use the search there was just a post last nite about circuit breakers or fuses.
Really? i never knew that, i just thought it would be better not buying fuses all the time, so in your opinion fuses or circuit breaker?
-
haha damn guys harsh. but seriously OP, you have 2 18's and 4kw (and for some reason are running 4 gauge) and you are asking where to get fuses. i mean come on.
Thankyou for not being a Dick about me totally Never using SMD before... and the reason i used 4ga i didn't have 0ga at the time and my 2/0 wire is here, so im looking for a good fuse or circuit Breaker that i do have 2 18's and 4kw, i was just asking if anyone had some know how and could tell me some valuble info that could save me some$$$

Wow......ever been on a forum before pussnutz? I bet if you Google 300 amp fuse, you might get something. You seem like a lazy facker lookin for handouts.

Some shit has been goin' down around where I live lately and I was thinkin' that it's time to protect myself. I don't want a CCW, but if somebody breaks into my house, I am gonna protect my family. I don't want something that will break the bank. I don't want too powerful, just powerful enough. I want a handgun, it doesn't matter if it's a revolver or whatever though. What do you recommend?
*EDIT* I am open to shotguns too. The shorter the barrel the better
truthfully a friccking FLARE GUN would send anyone packing and lets all be legit here how many people are gonna go to the hospital with 3rd degree burns to DA FACE LOL

k looking into a bigger amp and some diff subs for my false floor curretly i have 2 diamonds d3 subs and a powerbass Asa 1000.1 the box is a sealed about 1.5 to 2 cubicfeet what amp u think is the best upgrade a Pb Asa1500.1 or a HIFONICS BXi2006D or a planet audio bb1350 let me no lets get this going!!
personally i'd go with Hifonics my BXI 2608D pushes my type R's really hard, but get the 2010 model they are CEA compliant, meaning you'll get your rated RMS power or more, and thye have a decent customer service hope this helped

did you try disconnecting the HU's REM lead and then taking a piece of wire and just hold it on some positive source and into the turnon lead, if your amp turns on, your HU is fucked, that or your REM lead is "shorting" on a positive source
