  1. ok first of all just get rid of the cap its pointless it just looks cool for show and if there is a ground problem i would get a ground loop isolator and makes sure that your ground is on the frame and the paint is sanded to get a metal to metal contact and if you do all that it should eliminate the noise and if you don't want to bolt a hole in the frame i would just run a power wire right up to the battery ground terminal to get that best ground

  2. okay i'm trying to decide between 3 subs here.

first is a re audio hc 15 for $135

next would be a dc audio level 3 15" with level 5 coils and dual spiders rated for 1200-1300 rms

and lastly would be a mach 5 audio ixl.4 18" subwoofer rated for a 1000 rms.

if i get one of the 15's it will be in a 3.3 cubic ft box tuned to 34 hz and if i get the 18 it will be in a 8 cubic ft box tuned to 32 hz

  3. According to Rick aka Techforce it's tuned to 40hz and it couldnt get any lower cause of hell I cant remember what he said now.

And I was doing the actual excursion bass test cd. He actually turned the bass down when he first put it in so it wouldnt be so bassy <--- yea new word LOL

And I can't really do the low lows it messes with my heart and I dont like that feeling. But I'm impressed for it being such a small box in my truck...

but yea I like my rock, hip hop, country (gretchen wilson thumps) I just wished my volume went past 39 lol

And I finally put a member build/show log so this vid is in there along with the pic of the score. (it's in my siggy) so if mods wanna close or delete this thread thats cool.

    And thanks! :)

40 hz is kinda high even for 8's i would tune to 36-38 hz and plus they have a fs of 22.8 hz so they should be able to get pretty low for just 8's in the right box

  4. Lol at the ads on the part express link you put up, like it says tech support and has this guy who looks kinda special, and other funny ads.

Anyway, yeah, I reckon you could get somewhere with that stuff, budget how they rate it with peak power, but I'm sure you will be able to do some sort of hairtrick, tune really low too.

Is this just to do a hairtrick in a house, or is it going to become some crazy as heck home theater system? lol

its gonna be a sick home theater system and i was gonna tune to like 26 hz which is kinda high for a home theater but you could get some pretty good output at that frequency

  5. uhmmmm multiply by 2 for raw materials alone... add lots of labor... also the vehicle was silver

yours for $185k plus 100k mile warranty neveer titled

hides were $500 each and we went through 14 of them

not to mention an S class (221) seat pieced together is about $40k a piece... good luck finding a 2007-10 in a junk yard

then a door control module, central gateway, COMAND system, door switch, Audio Gateway, and a seat control module needed to make it work....so toss in another $40k.... :) everything is MB AMG designo brand from wood style to colors to MB seating and carpet... after all it is an MB Sprinter

holy shit batman :trippy: what do you make in a year 200 grand???
