everything you have coverage on is listed in your policy . if you have photos and receipt documentation and have sent it to your agent befor the theft they are responsible to cover you loss. if it is just a basic policy and no additional coverage they will only pay to make it stock because they are in there minds insuring the factory setup. dont use statefarm either i learned this all the hard way

at our shop we use mothers chrome polish and if that doesnt seem to work we go to an industrial chrome cleaner peeling chrome is not gonna stop and rim needs redone if you can find someone to give you a resonable price
-
Would be interesting to see how this would hold up over time.
Whats your price comparison to getting something dipped?
sorry for not replying earlier been super busy at the shop
it is about half the cost of doing real chrome and has a liftime warranty I bought the system to do smaller stuff like emblems and interior pieces but it can do pretty much anything prices will be by the job

Alright, I have an 02 explorer xlt 2wd. The two rear struts, two springs, and two links need to be fixed. They all go together from my understanding. It is a common problem on explorers, and it is of course messed up on my car. I got quoted at a local over priced place, for 730 something to fix it all including labor. the Links might not be necessary, but the mechanic said I might need/want to replace them. 700$ is just too damn much, I mean I understood it would have been a couple hundred but I'm trying to look for the most affordable place.
Anyone know how much this should cost? I know some people here are mechanics/ own shops.....
Thanks for all you guys' help.
if you can shoot me a vin # i can look up cost on all and what labor should be

even if its deemed my fault? we are both insured, not sure if thats in question...
even if you are at fault you do not pay your deductibel to fix there car
-
if you are the insured you do not pay your deductible to repair someone elses vehicle only when you repair your ownso im not sure i fully understand..... can anyone confirm/further explain this? -
If you do not file a claim on your car you do not pay a dime for the repairs to the other persons vehicle your insurance company will pay for the repairs you pay nothing out of pocket. deductible only applies to your repairs if you file a claim

Im looking to buy some american bass Beyma 65nd pro series midrange anyone got some they want to get rid of?
any tips for bondo?
in Fabrication, Fiberglass, Etc
Posted
finally a question to which I have an answer since i run a bodyshop.. If you want something that is great then use rage gold it is a superior "bondo" that will sand nicely and have minimal pinholes if you need something cheaper most part store sell bondo which is ok but not the greatest if you want something that is better try your local auto body paint store we have alot in my area you should have a few, icing is good for final coats.so is metal glaze if you use less hardener it will stay workable for a longer period but will be runny depending on the humidity
