why would you face the 2 12's and the 2 10's back. if there your midbass then they would be forward not back. same with the tweets unless you plan on takin a lawn chair and chillin behind your van bumpin all day

You still haven't given us any info. What model speakers are they? If you're running 7 & 14 speakers respectively, you will have a weird final impedance. If you're expecting them to sound good, regardless if they're crap or $500 Focal speakers, then 100w a tower is nowhere near enough. You'll probably have to buy a good amplifier, probably a power amp, with a crossover.

None of the departments here in Eastern KY have one, but I'd like to see one that does. If I didn't have a train horn going on my car for the FD/rec use, I'd probably put a Rumbler on...but I think the train horn will do fine.

You've never watched Top Gear? Watch for it on the 21st (IIRC) for the Holiday Special...or any variety of the BBC version (135 on Dish)

they have been around for a while its a BBC channel show but now they have a show on The History channel as well so you have 2 Top Gear channels one for BBC then the US one.
F*** the US version. I watched maybe 5 minutes of their episode of the Cobra chase and said f*** this. I think the British TG are supposed to come out with their own version because the guy I got a ride in a Cobra from said he worked with Jeremy, James, & Richard on an episode near Dayton. Hopefully he was right.

hi, im making these epic towers with 14 woofers and 7 tweeters in each and i dont know how to wire them! each woofer (midrange) is 40-70 watts a piece and they are 8 ohms. the tweeters are 20-40 watts a piece, also 8 ohms. my Yamaha rx-v363 Receiver puts out 100 watts per channel. my system can handle 4 ohm, 6 ohm (i think), and 8 ohm. if you can please tell me how to wire up these towers i would appreciate it sooo much! please and thanks!
First off, they aren't epic, because you'll be running no more than 100 watts apiece. Second, read this. Third, model #'s.

How long has the system been in your car? Perhaps your alternator or battery is going bad, if you haven't added an extra battery.

I was wondering if anyone was thinking of making a SMD iPad/iPhone app, I'm pretty sure it would be pretty popular, especially since there are so many members on here.

In all seriousness, why? You can access the site on Safari, no need to waste time making an app that maybe 500 people will use.
An app could have everything in one place, making it faster and easier to use. Plus, the stupid garage section up the top of the page is 2 cars too big, it makes it a pain to use TBH. It's a cool idea, and having it is great, but it isn't set up the best.

If they make one I need an app for a windows phone.
That's one of the issues with making an app, you have to learn to port it to Windows phones, iPhones, Android phones, etc. Web based is probably the best opinion.

Just wondering if I could run my amp a 2ohms on an Alpine Type R 4ohm version. Or am I better off with the 2ohm version?
Link to amp? If the sub is single 4 ohm, then it will only run on a 4 ohm load.

If you have to ask, then you aren't ready for 16v. 16v batteries need to charge at 18v, just saying.
Kinda figured it would be more of a pain in the ass than it's worth. Good ol' 12v 1800w batt for me.

Found this alternator and been told it fits a 2001 Grand Prix with the 3.8 V6 N/A. Just double checking and making sure with the head honcho 100%.

ok guys. i am looking for the cheapest amp possible to buy over the internet. i dont care what kind it is just at least 300 watts or more.
only reason i want this is to hook it up in my house to play around with subs. any amp will do. just CHEAP
Car amp wise, perhaps something from the Audiopipe AP series (they have an AP400.1D I think, and their upper wattage amps have great reviews).
120v amp wise, I have an EP2500 from Behringer that I use, puts out 2500w bridge mono at 4 ohms, is 2 ohms stable stereo, and can run 1200 watts a side at 2 ohms. You can probably pick one up second-hand for around $150 or so. They're tough amps.

I have an Audiopipe AP1500.1D rated for 16v use, and I'm on the search for a good second batt. Kinetik has the KHC16V, 1600watts at both 12v & 16v outs. Would I need a new alternator setup to use the battery at 16v, or how would it work? I can power my mid/high amp off my front stock battery. Thanks

Anyways, good news and bad news. Good news is that based on my behavior, they are going to drop all charges. Bad news, have to stay on house arrest until January 4th. But, the head of the monitoring company was there, and she's given me a ton more leeway. She said because of my behavior, she's allowing me to go to my dad's every weekend, both Saturday & Sunday, so we can hang out & watch football together. She's also letting me go out and work on my car in the parking lot for a couple hours every week, and letting us go out to eat once or twice a week. So it's not all bad, just gotta waste the time away.
And that is why I have my DJ amps and my subs here.
